Pre COVID work from home order, my wife did her 14 mile 1 way commute R/T 100% on EV with our Outlander PHEV. (summer) Batteries still have the cold temperature & range operating issue, nearly half in our winters has been our experience.

The T-100 was engineered and assembled in Japan for the NA market and I assume subject to the 25% chicken tax for USA, Tundra is 75% +/- American parts and assembled in USA.
Buy a southern truck. I also live in the salt belt and have looked at a lot of local Gen 2 and Gen 2.5 trucks. From my observations, Gen 2.5 frames rust thru to damaging levels much quicker than Gen 2 trucks. Buy a truck from Tx, NM, Az, Cali etc...
I second the headlight restoration and better halogen bulbs. Sylvania Silverstar Ultra or Philips X-treme Vision +130%. Autosol Polishing 100g Cleaning Polish get you to 95% or better in 5 minutes.
