    Comfortable sleeping bag

Washing down is a no go, no way around it, it just won’t insulate like it used to. Sleeping bags get nasty, the OP wants to wash his bag In not water without it falling apart over time. Sure, you can wash a bag not recommended to be washed or he can get a bag that was designed to washed. I...

    Comfortable sleeping bag

They are expensive but can be thrown in the wash, work even if wet, and are very heavy duty. The washing thing is a big plus for me.

    Comfortable sleeping bag

https://www.wiggys.com/sleeping-bags/hunter-antarctic-rectangular-sleeping-bag/ I have this one and a 30 degree one from Wiggy. I always end up using the Antarctic one because I can unzip it to regulate heat to get more room for my legs and has more padding. It’s big though so I takes up a...

UTE Flatbed / Tray for Short bed Truck

As a former owner of this flatbed I want to point out a couple other cool features and give it a bump.... The rub rail is super handy for hooking up straps wherever you need them and locking gear to the truck when you are out for the day. The boxes are huge and will fit under just about...

    Alternative to a bicycle

I can see it being very useful while camping. May not be as practical as a bike but the size makes it attractive. That fits in a SUV no problem and can be pulled out easily and easier to stash at a trail head. bikes need a rack which is more weight, less secure, and usually in the way. I...

New rear tire carrier Westcott designs

That’s sounds like a great set up, you’ll want the weight with the heavy springs. Very nice.

New rear tire carrier Westcott designs

I like that, looks functional and sits nice and close to the rig. You can take it off for daily duty too which you cant do with a more expensive bumper. So you basically have the Wilco or https://www.rigdsupply.com/ for around $1k+, the Westcott for $1500k+, or a bumper for $2.5+. I...

First Panam Journey in an Electric RV? Check out "Route Del Sol"

You wouldn’t need as much solar that’s for sure.

First Panam Journey in an Electric RV? Check out "Route Del Sol"

Pilat hijacks threads with illogical assertions that have nothing to do with anything. A bike is powered by pedaling and is for one person with a tent. This thread is about an EV camper. Trying to compare the two is really silly, there could not be two more different modes of transportation...

    Google Timeline

I did the same thing right after buying a new phone. I got home and google message popped up asking me to review the Kabob Shop. I was by the kabob shop buying a phone but didn’t eat there. Creeped me out and turned everything location based off.

    E-bikes?

If you spent 1500 on a kit you would have one ************ ebike with a huge battery. You would also get the built not bought badge. Or spend the $750 and get a couple batteries. The money you save on labor and a frame can go into the build. Nothing you mentioned can’t be easily solved. You...

    E-bikes?

Battery and motor each weight about 10lbs, add wiring and controller and there you go. I would strongly consider a mid hub motor. I have a rear hub and it super heavy, even going off curbs is nerve racking the way it hits so hard. That said, some people like the ride better from a rear hub...

The Total Approach of Getting Unstuck Off Road, by Bob Wohlers

Good find, looks like it might be good to keep in the rig. I keep telling myself I am not going to get a winch on the new ride but this might change my mind.

    E-bikes?

I saw the new Thule one has a ramp and is made for ebikes but the price is steep. If your bed is open you could put a truck crane on it. I had a crane on my last pickup and it was nice, doubled as a canoe rack. You can also take the battery off, they are made to pop right out when unlocked...
