One of those pics is of my truck :hehe: . The one where it's welded to the frame but not painted.
I've been meaning to take pics but I wanted to paint it before I took em. DO painted them that glossy black, I'm going to paint it flat black but it's been raining lately...so I'll still post...
I was thinking of going to big bear this saturday with my wife and 17mo old son. I just wanted to cruise through the snow and let him play around if anybody is interested....:chowtime:
WOAH, that's freakin huge!
You're right about the price, and I say the bigger the better :p
I also bought my fridge, transit bag and mount from them and I agree that their customer service, prices, and everything else is good :box:
Sweeeeeet, Congratulations, I can't wait to see you're results!
I love the range on my canon 17-40L. Here's one of my first pics with it from Inyo Nat'l forest, leaving Death Valley.
Click here cuz I don't know how to post pictures =)
I wish I had your 28-300 cha ching!
I have a diamond nr-72bnmo 14" 2m/440 antenna. It's performance is outstanding and got really good reviews, I just can't remember the website that reviews all the ham eqpt.
There's no such thing as a stupid question right? What's a constrictor strap? Is it this?
What about adding proper lifting points for the hi-lift such as the lift mate and bumper lift? (there's plenty more to choose from if this doesn't suit your needs)
I've been thinking about this for a while as well. You can have your steel mesh for regular storage such as camping eqpt. If you know you're going to put a tent up there I'd have some plywood as the base. I'd most likely use the same tent everytime, if I'd use a tent at all (like what scott...
Wow, you're gonna get yo' grub on :eatchicke
That looks saaawwweeet:exclaim: It appears to be very sturdy.
Where's the gas input on the stove itself? I see the hose... I plan on having a drop down table behind my rear swing gate and where the gas line is installed is kind of an issue...
I love my lightforce 170's. I've had them for about 3 years without any issues. They're lightweight, bright, versatile and indestructable! They help A LOT on pitch black trails and washes. I've also used different filters. My favorite happens to be the yellow one's - the increased contrast...
Yeah, I love those super clean welds!
And yeah, the frame is already reinforced. He welded 1/4" steel to the frame above the rear tires. I'll post some pics, he did it a little different from previous trucks. Instead of just welding the perimiter of the 1/4" flat to the frame, he cut...
The bumper and gate alone was 117 lbs.? When I carried the gate itself to take pic's of it I think it weighed in under 45lbs, I'm guessing about ~35lbs. Well, now that I think about it, 117lbs sounds about right...
I've been in correspondance with Rod at total vision for a little...
:clapsmile Outstanding question Wil, I'll have to ask about that. In the end it's going to be powdercoated a textured black. I've seen other things of similar design that he's had powdercoated and everything, including the insides have pc on them, it just wasn't as textured as the outside...
Thanks Scott,
I'm using the Hayden 679, that's the only working link I could find. For some reason I'm having trouble with www.haydenauto.com
I must admit, I put the cooler in before the trans temp gauge so it could be just what I want to think - when I hop on the freeway, or when I get...
rear tire carrier
DO is building a rear tire carrier and I'm looking for suggestions. Here's pictures of the gate itself. On the far left is a mount for either an ammo can or a jerry can. Adjacent to it is where my hi-lift will be. And of course that's the tire carrier on the right. On the...
There are two lines that run from your tranny to the bottom of the radiator. I tapped into one with some fittings and voila. Not long after autometer came out with the perfect fitting to tap into the tranny lines and it's about 25 bucks, you can probably find it on their website. I plan on...
