On some units (BMW motorcycles) key is turned to accessory position and throttle is cycled from idle to wide open a couple of times, turn key off then start as normal?
I believe it cycles on the pressures of on @80 and off at 110. You can get different pressure switches but my feeling is ARB knows their product so I just turn the compressor on and let it cycle it's self as needed.
Probably the smartest course of action albeit maybe not as amusing for some on the forum. You could've taken it to a dealer and smiled sheepishly? Kudos for taking the smart road
