Yea my only complaint is how wide they are i comparison to the cab. However after looking qt one up close It shouldn't be to bad of a job to take it abart and narrow it up some. The biggest part of the job would be narrowing the headache rack and the rear gate but even that would not be hard...
Thanks for the tip. I have a friend that lives out there and I just spoke to him. He said after going through the tetons that I should head up 93 to 12 and the cut in to the selway area He also told me it is possible to do almost that whole leg offroad which sounds good.
I have a Gazateer on...
Hey don't forget the bilge pumps! they are the second half of the install and best way to keep the cab dry LOL! I have 2 in the garage awayting install. I plan to run the lines up and out the cab just below the roof. There will be a dash mounted on off switch. so I don't have to listen to them...
:jump: So I was in Atlanta for christmas and on our way home I noticed a colorado sitting right out front of the dealer with a Ute Tray on it. They are selling them in reg and extracab models! there was a 4X4 xtracab in the back but i was unable to get a good pic. It was only $24K. I asked if it...
looks good. As you can see it is really simple just tedious. I just outfitted an F-250 crew with topper. We did tracks with yakima's control tower system and a q tower unit over the cab. He also got a front class 3 reciever and we put a 4 bike yakima hitch rack on the front. He tows a trailer...
Ok from the roof to the bottom of the crossbar is 4" exactly. From the roof to the top of the croosbar is 5" exactly.
Merry Christmas, don't say I didn't get you anything. LOL!

How about getting the material to fab a nice drawer system for organising your gear. That would be nice Tools extractiongear below. Camping and food on top.
Man thanks for the feed back. Your outline looks really good. No major mileage to do at one time ( well except for the 2300 miles to SLC!!! LOL) I will start scowering my topo map program to see how much ohv there is. but it looks like plenty of opourtunity, especially around stanley.
If anyone...
Well this is a driving year to the annual Outdor Retailer show in SLC, UT. It is over on Aug, 13 and after that the wife and I are free to go. We will have 2 weeks to explore. There are so many great options that we are undecided and are having troubles commiting on a plan. We have been all over...
Well in our neck of the woods chainsaws should be standard fair. Especially after the last 2 hurricane seasons. It is amazing though how many people travel with nothing including a $1 for a phone call. On road offroad people always short change repair/recovery gear.
My first trip wheeing we...
Ok so I have a panasonic dv camera. I got pinnacle software awhile back but just got to installing it. I have the camera hooked up to the pc via firewire and even though I can see the camera through the computer the program will not recognize the camera any idea for the computer challenged.
Happy B-Day scott! I would make one suggestion if your not done with the install. Upgrade your velcro to dual lock. Velcro does not work when wet or dirty. Dual lock will and is super easy to clean. Plus dual lock is 100 times stronger. It's made by 3M and is available at some hardware stores...
Scott's on the money with the stock motor thing. I have built way to many motors to know that add ons mean headaches, and that is the last thing you want when you're 100 miles from anywhere.
Ha I know right. We actually did squeeze in a birthday LOL! I will say this though my legs and feet are killing me after all that walking. After going on the wrong subway train and ending up in Harlem at night we didn't use the subway again. a little confusing for us newbs. They do have these...
Well We went to NYC to celebrate my wifes father's 60th Bday this week end. We got there friday morning and I was excited since it was my first trip to the city. I have driven to the Adirondacks several times but never went to the city. Anyway Here's what we did

I have an older S300 and we love it. Is is only 2.5 pixel but still takes great on the fly pics. I would say more often then not we are shooting it rather then our D-90. I'm envious.
