    Compressor Issue

I replaced my compressor less than 2 years ago but getting the “filling too slowly” error code most (not all times) after start up. Galley pressure drops quickly after success or failure getting to 253-255psi so I suspect bad seal. Where is the galley seal, on the compressor or on the...

    LR4 - remove 3rd row seats

So the outlets on the right side (US passenger side) are tied into a Blue Sea fuse box behind the rear panel and has leads going to the battery. Lines run down the door sills and under dash to a PITA hole behind the driver side battery box where the dual battery is. I have second fuse box behind...

    LR4 - remove 3rd row seats

I did in my LR3. I used the brackets on the side to mount the new drawer(platform) and the gap underneath to hold chairs, table, etc. added benefit is easy access to the spare tire. First pic is the old drawers, on top of 2x3 on top of collsed 3rd row. Others are post removal.

    Used LR3?

I bought my 2008 LR3 with 65k on it, now 125k. Only minor issues, I am a YouTube mechanic and will do the basics (maintenance, brakes, etc, but I get adventurous and did sway bar bushings, upgraded compressor etc. I’m pretty sure I’m on original control arms and they are ready to be replaced...

Poser shot, tree bars come out just beyond my tires, 265-65/r18s with no spacers.

    LR3 Slider options/opinions

Got mine installed, thanks all on here for your help and advice. I’m going to need to let down and then retighten, I found many of the holes a little rough with some surface rust which made bolts a bit hard to install. Would seem best might be to tighten from inside out. I really noticed that...

    LR3 Slider options/opinions

SAR-JKU ... just got my PR Sliders. Seems a pretty simple install and I see your point on the washers. 2 Questions I have: 1) is the only part THAT IS REMOVED AND NOT SAVED the long rocker panel on each side once removed from the bottom? 2) The piece I must trim are the pieces to the outside...

    Full length rack noise

Hey, no doubt, the road noise on the full size front runner rack on my LR3 is noticeable. My AT tires likely help too. I will say, the quietest my Rack has ever been was when I carted 2 canoes on the roof. That said, I’m very happy with my FR Rack.

    LR3 Slider options/opinions

I’m about to pull trigger on Proud Rhino Sliders, sounds like they are similar to TR but allow use of the door seals and keeping the compressor shroud intact. These appear to be 2 important upgrade/ enhancements. I like that I can combine with TR gas tank and transfer case skids as my gas tank...

    LR3 Branch’s Deflelctors

    LR3 Branch’s Deflelctors

Thanks for response. That's pretty much what I thought. With stock bumper, I thought only option would be to make some hardened brackets that run out from under the hood toward the front. The bumper isn't wide enough behind the plastic portion for a post of any strength. Given I am not a...

New product from Proud Rhino! The SYA Off Road Extension Kit

You're putting on tires 4” greater in diameter than stock plus 2” lift rods on a 6000 lb vehicle, you might have to live with some sway. I had rods and 265/65 (31.5”) tires and I definitely felt it on the highway at high speeds. I eventually tossed my rods and ride at normal...

YETI HONDO BASE CAMP CHAIR - $300USD

This is so you can say “yes, I can afford to buy a $300 camp chair”. Buy cheap ones at Dicks and burn them the last night of each trip to save packing space. Hey Yeti, pick something else to over charge for. Here are some ideas, Yeti ice trays (super cold), Yeti replaceable bottle...

New product from Proud Rhino! The SYA Off Road Extension Kit

Read thread, maybe still confused So I have never been able to read thru the whole thread in one sitting until today. My takeaways are: (1) that the stock SYA kit can possibly leave you with issues with not being able to get in access height (2) only folks that would buy kit without straps...

Rear deck, fridge slider/ and Roller Drawers

So I did same to mine, then removed the factory tie downs so I could mount a small platform to hold me fridge (on slide) and case for gear (holds 4 soft woof packs). Bought longer bolts to hold down platform, which was lifted I think 2-3”. I have a nice gap, which allows me to hide 4...

    Lr3 Roof Awning

Hello all, happy holidays. I have been wanting to put a rear facing awning on my LR3. Wondering of other lr3 owners have and suggestions as the tailgate goes up and I have a ladder off the back as well which creates some close clearance issues. I also have the Front Runner roof rack. Choices...

    LR3 Control Arms

Time for this job for me .. 120k, last 60k on me with nothing but 1 new wheel bearing, sway bar front and rear bushings and tie rods so I’d say I’m lucky. The truck is my daily driver but goes off road, call it moderate northeast east crawling. I can move the lower arms in the front when...

    LR3 Fuel Gauge issue

So the tank has 2 sensors, one of mine is working and thus my tank goes from full to 1/2. I decided to just live with it as I have plenty of other upgrades that would give me more utility than the gas gauge. Sorry I cannot be of help. Let us know if you tackle it, maybe I'll reconsider.
