    FZJ80 + 18ft Sunradrer

I think you'll need to address the rear springs first if you're still on the stock coils. They aren't rated to carry anywhere near that weight and I don't think those helper bags are as effective as they can be carrying the additional ~1500lbs paired with stock springs. I use the bags in my 80...

HomeBuilt Family Sized Adventure Trailer Build

Looking forward to your build bud! I have similar plans to mimic the xventure size but have not started, interested in hearing your opinion on the Timbren axles. Did you go with lift or no lift/wide or regular width spindle. Good luck!

sorry for the bump on this but what does the "lift kit" for the trailer consist of? Are they just lift blocks where the torsion axle mounts to the frame? thanks, Richard

    Winch bumper

How much are you thinking for the DIY kit, I'm definitely interested? The additional savings on the shipping would be great! One note to point, the LX grill comes up with the bumper, yours looks pretty close to the grill, not sure if it would clear it with the bars.

MIG welder recommendations for my project

Good choice Jfet, my first choice would be the millermatic 211mvp but went with the hobart 210mvp when I came upon a deal I couldn't turn down. The versatility can't be beat!

Pintle vs Lock&Roll vs Max Coupler

Don, appreciate your response. I've just heard of situations where a pintle would prevent a trailer from a roll over because it is not allowed to rotate 360 degrees. I thought maybe the LNR with limiter might be the best of both worlds? Appreciate any thoughts on this! Thanks, Richard
