    '08 Power Wagon

I have had both the 82 qt & the 50 qt ARB's in the back seat on the fold flat floor---but NOT both at the same time. Not easy to get them in there but you can. 2 people is much better than 1, lol. Once you get one, you'll wonder how the heck you ever got along without one !!! Seriously---NO ICE...

My K30 Blazer - One Tons, 40's and an LS Swap

LOVE IT !!! I think you are the first person ever to put larger tires on your M1101/1102 trailer (at least that I have seen anyways). Awesome !!!

    '08 Power Wagon

GREAT find !!! My Flame Red 2008 QC has 43k on her now. Ours is also our "Jack-of-all-Trades" vehicle. Tows, hauls, Go anywhere-anytime in the Buffalo winters vehicle. Does everything we want except pass a gas station ! LOL. We ordered ours with the G-56, 6-speed manual. Geared like a tractor...

    Trailer brake controller

I bought mine at Tractor Supply. This is the 3rd truck it has been on. Works great. It is the older version of this: http://www.hopkinstowingsolutions.com/products/brake-controllers/impulse_brake_control.html

    Vacuum sealed meals

This is VERY GOOD advise. Al dente pasta & sauce is good. Chili con carne is good. Scrambled eggs & whatever is good---cook as much as possible, to avoid excess moisture when reheating.

    M1101/1102 Huck Bolt Removal Question

I would say the easiest way would be an impact air hammer. http://www.northerntool.com/shop/tools/category_air-tools-compressors+air-tools-accessories+air-hammers Or, you could center punch the head, drill it down & punch it out.

    Crazy intake Idea! 1997 E350 7.3 PSD

Hop up the engine & it might even suck the clothes off your wife/gf when you stomp the go pedal !!! LOL. I think it would be wayy noisy as well.

2006 Fleetwood Neon - Family Adventure Basecamp

Great trailer & great pics. I was not happy with the state of wheel chocks either. What I have done to help is a few things. I made my own, with teeth & a handle. They dig into the ground nicely & I have never had them move. even on soft downhill grade. I also made a special jack for our camper...

Trailer Security and the TrailerWatch 2?

It has been my experience that just some simple things go a LONG way for security. But, If someone REALLY wants it, they will figure out a way, period. Out of sight, out of mind. There is a LOT to be said in that simple little phrase. If they can't see it, they won't be thinking "I want that"...

    AEV Prospector

All that coin & they are "researching whether lockers would be offered" for the Prospector XL. Lift, 40" tires, bumper/s winch, raised air intake & no lockers ? Not sure what they were thinking there. I bought my truck because it has lockers. The flex is nice too. Love the G-56 Hemi. 2008 Dodge...

Airstream is back with the Base Camp trailer

Yup, good read for sure. Not ever owning an Airstream anything, I can not comment on the ownership of one. What I can say about Airstream is: they are the benchmark that seems to always be referred to. Which is a good thing to be sure. I wish we could afford one, but we can't. We did recently...

New from AEV - The Prospector XL

Lockers ? Avail now or in the future ? (I know the front AAM 14 bolt 9.25 & the AAM 14 bolt 11.5" ARB's are avail for 3rd gens, but what about the new ones ?)

    New battery cable help

Making your own cables is easy, Use welding cable of your size/Ga choice. Those braided straps suck. Make your own with welding cable. All the grounds on my PW sucked. Metal was primed & painted & clear coated, then they put on the ground straps. I took them all off & ground down to bare metal...

    Need Some Recommendations Please

Any of these kind of stoves should be able to use the 3 fuels you mentioned. You might just have to put the alcohol in a small container & slide it in there. I also have 3 Primus- classic trail/camp stoves. They work awesome below 10,000 ft. They do take fuel canisters though, which are cheap &...

How to evaluate a used expedition style, trailer

Well, wheel bearings IMHO are a personal thing. Yeah, they may have been greased but the prudent thing to do is take the hub apart after you get it & clean & repack them anyways. Peace of mind when you do it yourself & do it right. You can jack up the trailer & make sure tire spins freely then...

I just need to boil water for coffee, what stove?

If you want super compact & don't mind the whole "attached to the fuel canister" thing, then these work AWESOME !!! : Primus-Classic Trail Stove. They are super small & work excellent below 10,000 ft. I have 3 of them, daughter has 2 of her own (she is my outdoorsman). They have never failed us...

    Cool cooler...

I had this same dilemma. I just could not see spending $300-600+ for a cooler, no matter how good, when for just a little more, you can get an ARB. Do what ever works for you. On our last camping trip to a state park (a holiday weekend), the store was only opened on Fri & Sat - noon. They ran...
