If you read back a couple of posts you'll see that it is a prototype. It does, however, look pretty sweet. Love the low profile.

Are you going to have one of your proto-types at the Expo? In my case, I would like to mount a rack to the penthouse roof using existing the existing Yakima tracks that are already screwed into the roof. But then I can get rid of the towers and bars. Yesssss:ylsmoke:

ooh, that looks enticing. If it's anything like the Eezi Awn K9 low profile rack I'll be interested. I like the modular, flat style. As long as you know what you're carrying the slot style without the side rails is the way I want to go when I replace my Yakima MegaWarrior.

    CrabbyMcNab's Adventure with Blunderbuss

By it from the stealership so you have it for the weekend and simply return the one that you eventually get from the online vendor next week back to the dealer. Just a thought. There's a good chance they have it in stock. edit to add: did you order from Autonation? When I've talked to those...

Did ford equip any SRW E350's with a D70HD or D80?

I'm doing that same axle swap right now and the WMS-WMS are the same between the SF and FF. The SF is on my 2005 E350 and the donor FF is from a 2000 E350 with disc brakes. So, plug and play wrt the brakes but I need to move the shock mounts (because Sportsmobile moved them when they converted...

    CrabbyMcNab's Adventure with Blunderbuss

Cool beans. If you call in the order they will take off another 10% or do free shipping if you mention you are a powerstroke.org member. They are a website supporting vendor. The chafingand/or deterioration from heat of hoses, wires, and fittings seems to be the bane of the 6.0 crammed into...

Belafonte Reboot....Ambulance to 4x4 Camper Conversion

I have not had much luck contacting The Brakeman, now owned by TBIbrakes. How did you get through? Strong work Tgreen. Overcome, adapt, conquer!

    CrabbyMcNab's Adventure with Blunderbuss

A pinhole is enough to do it. I believe you are using the part # that is stamped on the hose. Those are international or the hose manuf. #'s that won't cross-reference. Trust me, I tried and ran into this issue as well. From what you have described I think your hose is the hot side CAC end...

    6.0 EGR cooler delete question

The screen is 7x the cost of the "improved" OME replacement but totally worth it. You'll probably find a torn screen if it hasn't already been replaced. Can you say bomber? Replace this screen on the IPR. An improved screen comes with the STC fitting kit. The IPR kit is pretty sweet...

    6.0 EGR cooler delete question

I also have the IPR GEN2 kit. It's much nicer than the sinister and the stainless steel up pipe is a better option than using a block-off plate. The IPR Extreme Duty HPOP screen is bomber as well. Unless you've got magic fingers you'll need to take the turbo out so recondition that or...

Bring some schwag. I presume you'll have a booth or be in the vendor area? I'll be there on one of the days since I live here but I'd also like to stop by and say hi and thanks for answering all my questions as well. Got any extra large Ujoint T-shirts?:)

I've got 22k on them with a 5 tire rotation every 3,000 miles. Tread depth is maybe 1/2 or a little less. If I get to 35K I'd be stoked but 30K on a 2 ton 4x4 lifted van is pretty decent. MTs won't last nearly that long. The BFGs wear pretty good too though.

    2015 Sprinter 4x4 build begins

Sorry, good point. My Thetford sucked too. I'm not sure what a ExPo cognoscenti is but carry on and no offense intended.:D

    2015 Sprinter 4x4 build begins

You guys are hijacking Err's build thread. If the missus has to get up 5 times during the night get a full size RV. If that's not an option then surely you can find space for a Thetford? http://www.thetford.com/HOME/PRODUCTS/PortableToilets/PortaPotti550PMarine/tabid/884/Default.aspx Errr...

    UJOR Build Thread

I noticed a difference between the old BFG A/T D-rated versus E-rated in the snow and ice. The D-rated was better. The Duratrac has much better hookup in the snow but is also louder at lower speeds. I don't notice it much at hwy speed but then of course I'm sitting on top of a diesel. This...

I have 35" Duratracs on my rig and they are considerably better in the snow than BFGs. That's the older style BFG. I'm curious about the new ones as well.

    CrabbyMcNab's Adventure with Blunderbuss

You probably know this already but none of the cool aftermarket CAC hoses like Riff Raff or Mishimoto fit the E series. I found the best OEM prices at http://parts.autonationfordwhitebearlake.com/6.0-l-parts/ I have the part numbers if you need them. The are not the same as what is printed on...

    CrabbyMcNab's Adventure with Blunderbuss

My guess is you've got a leak somewhere. Check the CAC hose. Just a little pinhole can be all it takes. Here's a useful thread from the FTE forum on levels but you should be getting into the 20s, especially at sea level...

    CrabbyMcNab's Adventure with Blunderbuss

Actually that seems a bit low. My 6.0 will hit low 20s. I have a 2005 6.0 with a 65rwhp tune and Atlas40 FICM tune but no other real mods that would affect boost. I believe the only way to really mess with boost is more fuel, bigger injectors, and a bigger turbo. By comparison, non-studded...
