    epic overlanding photgraphy

If you are looking for top notch photography in an off road environment, find your way over to the Tacoma World forums and follow any number of the trip/travel threads there. Monte Nickels and many of the guys he rides with (Sconnie Hailer, Digiratus) are at the pro photographer level IMO...

    Stock Fuel Tank Capacity?

A rear mounted FE140 tank (between the frame rails) will only take about 24-26 gallons with the fuel gauge on or near Empty. Mine has a filler neck that comes out and up, so it is well above the top of the tank. It is filled until there is fuel in the filler neck. Using this fill up data, I see...

Order yourself some Liposomal Vitamin C from the Vitamin C Foundation, especially if you have kids. There are other companies offering it, but I have found this one to be one of the best. It will knock out a cold in a few hours if you catch it early and kills everything from flu to strep to pink...

    Renault 150/ 170 4X4?

If you haven't already, you may wish to research the reliability of French automobiles. Further, I would imagine that obtaining parts and service in Arizona would be complete PITA.

    1017a camper/tiny house buIld

Solid core wire does not have the flex or give of a multi strand wire. It is not likely to break inside a wall, but there is a reason that Romex is used for a house and braided or stranded wire is used in automobiles and RV's.

    VARIOS 4x4 VARIOS

Simple, You CANNOT import a vehicle that was not originally sold in the UNITED STATES unless it is at least 25 years old. There are a few exceptions for R&D, car shows, race teams, campers imported for one year of travel, etc., but if you are a U.S. Citizen and want to keep, use and register the...

Why not build with SIPS and other questions

Please don't take this the wrong way, but all of your questions have been answered 100 times over on this forum. You can spend WEEKS reading through build threads, taking notes on what works and what not to do, why top notch campers are built the way they are and why traditional RV construction...

    I did something.....4m50 20g combo

OT, Andrew, did you ever get the 41" tires on your FG (335's?) My 4M50 FE with AS68RC auto seems to get down the road just fine empty or lightly loaded, but I can't imagine losing 20 - 25 HP and having much larger tires than stock. It would be a turd for sure.

FIFY :D Aside from roundy round racing and some boutique shops like U-Joint, there is definitely a massive difference between the two halves of the country. One of the reasons I try to get to Overland Expo West, SEMA, Pomona Off Road Show and other left coast events. There is just so much that...

    MG Metalworks Van Build

Your customer service is better than his for sure. He is a PITA to get on the phone and does not answer emails. If you did not have everything figured out, it would certainly be worth doing it just to sell a few to the Dodge guys.

Flatbed and composite panel build on Dodge 2500

I will echo Mark's sentiments. While I love the look and feel of quality wood products, I do not believe they have a place in an expedition vehicle. Wood will always be heavier than a comparable composite for its size and it must be maintained in some way (oiled, sealed, painted, stained, etc)...

I searched, "5.4 Triton HP TQ" (sans quotes) and this was the first match, so I used it: http://www.f150hub.com/specs/ford-modular-specs.html Scroll about half way down the page for the 5.4 info. I am not a Ford guy, so I have no clue if this is correct or if it applies to vans, etc.
