As I understand it four brand new Kimberleys are in the USA being prepped for delivery
Web site looks great https://www.kimberleykampers.com.au/
Note the picture on the Karavan page is the Grand Canyon with Brad and his Karavan
I like the black countertops and the toilet that swivels out so...
Not sure what wally meant about a velcro strap. I took the Alu-Cab "hook" off the alu-cab ladder and bolted it to the one in the link. Goes on like the stock one, but easier to store and a better ladder in my opinion
That connector is an SB50 Anderson plug. It comes from the factory with a...
Here is what I did with my 2014. https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/romers-200-build-thread.904006/
You can work it gradually
Nice tires a basic OME lift, Skids and Sliders and you can go just about anywhere. The rest of what I did was customization to my own preferences
why not buy a Kimberlery Kamper from Australia. They sell to the US https://www.kimberleykampers.com.au/kampers/
I had a Kamper for 5 years and they are well built, durable and cool. I only sold it to buy the Kimberley Karavan. I know there are two Kimberley products shipping to the US in...
Nice to see they are opening a local dealer here in the states

I have a friend who ordered a Karavan and it is shipping in two weeks. From what I read on the non affiliated private forum, the new ownership has done a great job...
I talked to BattleBorn
They told me to winterize you fully charge and then disconnect all loads. It will be fine down to -4 deg F and lower for shorter periods. Battery is rated to -4 deg to +135 deg F for storage
They said there is no issue with the BMS at cold
I am looking at swapping my AGM batteries for Lithium batteries (LifePRO). My only concern right now is winter storage
I have a detached non insulated garage I keep my Karavan in. In Colorado there are days (not a lot) it gets below zero sometimes (rarely) below -10F. The temp in the garage...
the word and picture limit is each post not thread. You could have just made it a second post in the same thread. Just letting you know if you have more reviews coming up as it is easier for others when searching for info
I am curious why you started two threads though rather than just posting the part 2 in the same thread to keep them together. For historical purposes I would recommend copy and pasting part 2 into your first thread and deleting this one. Just a suggestion
Based on his review I doubt he is associated. His upgrade team maybe separate than the Trailer company. For example, my upgrade team on my 200 series Land Cruiser is Slee offroad in some cases :)
There are over 30 Kampers and quite a few Karavans and Kruisers here and the only issue I know of was Brad had a frozen outside water line on his Karavan that he wrapped afterwards and had no further issues. They have heaters under the water tanks you can turn on. I personally havent had an...
I was discussing how to do a LI Battery upgrade on my Kimberley Karavan with Kimberley today and they are building and selling units to the US again. There upgrades are pretty cool on the Karvan and looks like you can still get a well equipped Karavan from $50 to $65K in USD depending on...
Looking to get this. Anyone else have it already? Interested in your opinion
The video shows with and without poles and the website says should always be set up with guide ropes and poles. Guessing thats how they limit liability if one gets damaged in the wind
