Just had my walkthrough with the owner of the Company from Australia here in Denver. He had done the walkthrough with a couple in Boulder who bought an S3 the day before and they dropped him off. Really nice folks and I had a nice time visiting with Bruce Loxton the owner. He went through...
I would be interested in two cots, two chairs and two sleeping bags to 80111 in Denver. Anyone heading this way :)
I already have a an Oztent RV4, but thinking of swapping it for a Jet tent
Got back from New Zealand yesterday. Great trip, but 28 hours from hotel to my front door. My Karavan beat me to Colorado by one day, so I went to pick it up last night. Played with it a bit today, didnt setup everything yet like the bunks or awning. Lost of stuff to figure out. Glad the...
The S3 is really cool and had I not had a requirement it fit into my garage, I might have gone for that
My Karavan will be in Colorado tomorrow. I will be flying back from New Zealand through Australia tomorrow as well. Can't wait to pick it up
My Karavan is in the states! It was shipped with the larger S3. Here are both our units after they got off the boat before the wrapping was removed. They do a good job making sure it doesnt get damaged
BTW since they sold two in Colorado and we both had them shipped the owner of the...
Shipping was free. I understand sometimes they charge $3500 AUD, but I filled out another order. Everything is wired for US voltage. They installed the US 110V electrical outlets for when on shore power. No mods are required for the US. The only Mod I will be making is adding a 110V...
Those are sweet. If I hadn't set a rule about fitting in my garage, I would have looked harder at that instead of buying the Caravan. Kimberley makes really cool products.
Happy to help
If I had a lot more cash I would have gone with the Limited due to the airbag suspension and Li batteries. I can upgrade the batteries myself for about the same cost and maybe cheaper if I wait a few years. The air bag suspension with the addition of the compressor and paddle...
Thanks Guys. I will look into doing that. Sometimes our offroad meetings with Rising Sun do an outside meeting and once we all brought our trailers to show off.
Thanks Pat. I enjoyed watching you build yours. You have skills I never will have.
It's on its way to Brisbane and will sail on Nov 2nd with an expected arrival in Long Beach on Dec 6th after a stop in New Zealand
It is sailing with the larger Kruiser trailer from the Kimberley line for a...
A couple shots of the interior while it is still being built
doing an electrical test
It is out right now for a road test, then they finish the seats and install the mattress and then it ships to the port for the slow boat ride to the US
I really enjoy what they build. Their larger...
I know, I called my Kimberley Kamper my Goldilocks Kamper in this thread, that it was just right. It was just right for over 5 years. The adventure trailer RRT setup was too small and uncomfortable for me.
The Jayco offroad pop-up had gotten too big as you deployed two large beds and was...
