    Seriously Considering a 2006-2007 100 series

I am sure he meant how the interiors get treated due to the "service vehicle" designation that parents, my own friends included, seem to turn their vehicles into after the 2nd kid arrives. They are simply too bust managing more important things than to worry about scrapes, dings, spills, etc...

    Wheels???

You are? That thing looks like it must be on portal axles. Are you going to also do that?

    2010 L322 on 18"s...

why not dig into the 18" Compmotive wheels the lr4 crowd puts on those. The offset and interior rim size are what allow it to fit without spacers when factory 18's will not fit without spacers. Being that lr4 and 2010 range rover are about the same time period, seems the brake rotor sizing...

Aside from being incorrect in your statement of what people on EP post, you misread. I listed the completed items, then one single item "planned".

The lc 100 is better. That's not my issue. BS for sake of making headlines is though.

In general EP is an overlanding forum where function usually trumps sexy fancy bits but here's a preview of the build: -Full underbody protection by Rasta including radiator guards and deep sliders by Rover Specialties. 7 sections total. -ARB front bull bar with winch and synthetic line...

I don't think you could handle it. There are no 20's, no chrome, rarely any shine.

    Seriously Considering a 2006-2007 100 series

You are correct. On this forum a bling-tastic Range Rover sport will be laughed off the page. Most people on here would prefer the 15" ground clearance and 1000 mile fuel range mine provides in addition to ability to sit upright in a bed platform over a cargo area drawer system or cook on...

    Seriously Considering a 2006-2007 100 series

If the intended purpose is to nearly always have the whole family along (is it 3, 4, 5 people?) then the fact that the LC 2nd row seats are pretty much in the way of everything except sitting becomes a moot point and therefor removes from contention one of the main features the lr3 provides...

^ says the guy who thought it a good idea to spend $$$ on an "autobiography" version Range Rover Sport .... ;) Regardless of what you "think", there is essentially just as much aftermarket junk made for the Land Rover as for the Land Cruiser.

Very true, but you got it backwards as being something in favor of the LC 200. Unless you think all the people who buy used LR3 HATE this fact. Resale is actually entirely against the owner unless they are selling. In NC, and some other states, annual property tax for registration is tied to...

Sure it's an aftermarket toy. So are the OME replacements for the LR3 air suspension. Which toy is better isn't the question. It was CYK's statement that with the Toyota there is such a wide range of things available with none of those for the LR3. These days pretty much all the same **** is...

Tire setup for winter adventure LR3

I've had good results last winter with the E load rang Michelin LTX M/S 2 which is winter specific compound and much more siping than the AT style like BFG or Duratrac, both of which I've also used. If you do not get a real winter tire, definitely have the AT tire you choose extra siped byu...

Exactly, it wasn't actually "wallet" sapping. Patience maybe, but not many $'s. No, "time" is not "money" when you would otherwise not be earning it with that time spent on something else. If it were true then all the time you spent dialing in your 200 would similarly be "costing" you so much.

While very cool they don't provide any more function. The post was about aftermarket options.

You should know by now that the word "capable" can mean different things to people depending on their priorities. It was my understanding that the 100's torsion bars are actually more of a limitation than the current 200 series design. The KDSS system on it's own must certainly help the 200...

"crickets"? Name something substantial that is available for the 200 that is not for the LR3 or LR4.

How would it be "wallet sapping" when they were both under factory warranty?
