There is some good information here I'd suggest the Max Coupler over the Lock-n-Roll, both need a two inch receiver tube in the tongue so coupler choice won't effect fabrication.

Yes those are the thinnest. Part of the issue is the spindle/castle nut assembly, and the 1.75" studs that are pressed into the hubs. We add to the problem by fitting bearing buddies to all of our trailers.

Bill, you can fit a set of 2" adapters with will push the rims out enough so that the spindle doesn't interfere with the wheels. I have a set in stock if you need them. Check that you won't get interference with the fender first.
