My favorite place to dump grey water is on the verges of gravel roads where nothing normally grows, but not on the road itself.
Alternatively, dig a hole, preferably in a sandy location where it will soak away.
I avoid placing it on native vegetation.

When you wash dishes you hold them on their side, edge down. If you are right handed, you hold it with your left hand and wash it with your right hand. The sink needs to be only wide enough for your deepest saucepan.
Traditional stainless steel sink......
4L of water gives 50mm of...
Large sinks (especially stainless steel) need lots of water that gets cold quickly.
A smaller elongated plastic sink needs less water to get a decent depth and it stays hot longer.
Bigger is not better unless you have an unlimited supply of hot water.

We have a hydronic style diesel heater that is plumbed to the engine glycol heating system, so the hot water calorifier is hot any time we drive over 20 minutes.
That allows us to heat the wet bathroom (without heating the rest of the habitat) at any time that we are driving using only waste...

Yandina, Queensland (just around the corner from All Terrain Warriors).
Terrible web site for someone who makes the best panels. Talk to the owner Shaun.

Only in some poorly manufactured composite.
Like most things, there is "composite" and then there is "composite".
Many composite manufacturers take a sheet of foam and glue a sheet of fibreglass (that comes off a roll) to each side.
The good stuff (that I now use exclusively) is made by laying...
The rest of the world is metric, including for wire conductors, so it makes sense.
This is a useful tool.
VOTLAGE DROP = [cable length (in metres) X current (in amps) X 0.0164] divided by cable cross-section in mm.sq
Of course, it is worth understanding why you would consider a DC-DC charger...
My current rig (in the avatar to the left) has a "composite" floor.
It is glass skins and a polypropylene honeycomb core.
It has done 300,000+km of mostly serious "off road" travel in Australia without the slightest mechanical or engineering concern.
I am currently building a new light weight...
Tanks in my new build.
The 200L and 110L diesel tanks are selectable while driving using a Pollak valve.
In order to maximise security, the 50L reserve diesel must be manually transferred via electric pump to the 110L tank.
All tank vents can be closed off in the event of a rollover. Imagine...
Composting toilet.
Requires emptying in 2-4 weeks instead of 2-4 days.
I will have one of these in our new build..... https://ogotoilet.com.au/ogo-origin-toilet-4/
There are others, but this was my choice.

Hard sided campers typically have a CofG advantage over slide-ins (we have had both) because the water tanks are below the floor instead of above it.
This rig weighs about 6 to 6.5T.

Crossing the Simpson Desert in Australia.
This is half way.
700km and over 1,000 parallel dunes to cross = high fuel consumption.
Lots of spare fuel required in case you almost get there and have to turn back because the track gets flooded. Rare, but it happens.
That is our OKA parked on the...
I live in Oz. I carry lots of fuel, but only diesel which is much safer than petrol (gas).
Yes it is true that there are some very long treks without fuel availability, but the other factor is that fuel is expensive even in the cities (compared to the USA), but it can cost 3X as much in more...
