Yeah that does make sense, but over here F-250's are way more common and tremor versions become more common, so this might be a nice option. You can get an upgrade in payload here if the technical side checks out anyways. Never truly understood the reason for the existance of the two versions...
Ok so the F 250 Tremor differs more to the "normal F 250" compared to the F-350 then right? Because for the F 350 its just an offroad package basically correct?
Hello,
i heard that the Tremor package upgrades the F250 rear axle to the one under the F-350 - is that correct? Never understood why these similiar trucks had differente rears in the SRW version to begin with, but if that where the case, i dont see any other difference anymore aside from one...
Now i was almost close to call the thing of due to complete lack of cars, and then this comes along:
https://www.kleinanzeigen.de/s-anzeige/dodge-ram-3500-chassis-cab-fahrgestell-6-4-hemi-4x4/3053879629-216-4397
Now since its a chassis cap we have to compare Ford&Ram in this version.
As far...
Hello,
since the Hummer EV was kinda the daddy of the Silverado/GMC EV pickup, i wonder how similiar they are under the skin.
Since the dimensions and the GVW and max towing are similiar, with the Hummer having a slightly higher GVW of 10550 and the Silverado 10350 as far as i know and both...
So the same axle but still different sized diff? Sometimes i wonder if its really this much cheaper this way. But ok, i guess then its the same with all 3 trucks.
Hello,
right now there is a rare opportunity here in Germany to a GMC 2500, the by far rarest of the HD trucks. Now i know the IFS can be upgraded quite a bit even here street legal and as far as i know it only differs in terms of suspension stiffness between 2500 to 3500.
But how about the...
Yeah i read the same about the thickness, which is the same as Mercedes wrote about the old G-Wagon frame. But at least from a look i got once the rails look larger then the G#s
The last measurement is the gauge and as far as i can tell so far there is usually not much difference in steel quality. Most metals used for these frames have a PSI rating of about 50.000, sometimes a bit over and under, like the G-wagon has 70.000 for example. Of course htere is far more then...
Hello,
so i recently seen a Ineos Grenadier next to the original LR Defender and from a first look the vehicle does look much more solid in built, not only the quality of the interior, but also the axles and the chassis. But since i do not own one i cannot measure the frame rails myself...
Well if you somehow have the choice between both its kind of a thing to consider. The Seq is longer, which has its advantages and disadvantages. But is the frame now pretty much the same or not? And the front suspension?
Oh ok, i thought bothe the Seq. and the LC had basically the same frame, as it was both a boxed version of the tundra frame just with different wheelbases? Right i forgot the Seq. had an IRS, which is gues is weaker and might be the reason why back then the LC had higher towing. Nowadays i think...
Hello!
so there is the very rare opportunity to get a 2015 Sequoia here in Germany, but i dont know much about the vehicle since it is quite rare.
Of course it is a bit longer then the big Land Cruiser, has a bigger Gas only Engine and is allowed to tow more, but features less offroad...
That is my point, in the pdfs it was the same strenght, but apparently only for the US-Ranger for some reason, mabye because it was produced alongside the F-150
You can see here on page 25 for the ranger and page 40 for the F-150, the dimensions are the same, only the thickness of the F150...
