Install Video: Thule Hideaway Awning on a Yakima Rack

I couldn't find much on installing the Thule Hideaway awning when I bought mine, so I made a video. The awning is well made, good quality, and easy to put up. The install was pretty easy, too. Helps if you have two people.

    I'M BATVAN! ...a 2006 E350 V10 DIY Ujoint Conversion

Brian, this is a great interior, well thought out and executed. I've used the starboard on boats before, great stuff. I'm hoping to do something similar in my van. My slide would need to be shorter, to accommodate the second row Siennas, which I'm hoping to make easily removable soon. Great...

Great job! Do you have a pic of your folding wood insert? I like the idea of your hammock, but would definitely want something a little more "bed like" myself.

The not-so-definitive guide to Sienna seats

I just removed that bench for the very same reason. The Siennas are incredibly lightweight for their size. I can move them easily, and I can't lift anything. Another great plus... the nice aisle you get down the middle. Need something in the back? Just walk right through.

Video: Aluminess Nerf Bar Install on an E350

Thanks for posting this. It's my next project. This will help a lot. You commented in the video that they would be better if they were out farther from the van. Now that you've used them for a bit, do they still seem too narrow? I haven't ordered yet and am still kinda on the fence about...

The not-so-definitive guide to Sienna seats

Well, I've picked up a pair of the Siennas for the back seats and will have to be content for now with getting up and moving to enjoy the recline! I'm holding off for now on the driver/passenger seating till I find something to "match" the gray leather Siennas but will swivel. It might be a...

The not-so-definitive guide to Sienna seats

Sienna Seat Questions Wanting to put a couple of Siennas in the driver/passenger positions in my 2014 E350 and need some help. Looking at two 2015 non-footrest style seats. They both have left hand seat belt receivers and would use the stock van seat belts (not integrated like the second row...

Need Advice for a DSLR camera for a travel blog

I second this opinion. Get something up front that won't break the bank, until you know what you actually need and want. I started with one *average* camera and one *very average* lens. As I learned what I was doing and what I wanted to achieve, I got cameras and lenses to match. Now I shoot...
