An XJ With No Name (Bug-Out Plus Travel)

I always liked XJs with their OG SUV shape but man, the rust on that one looks like a challenge. Kudos to you for taking it on and bringing it back to life! Very curious to see how this build goes! Good luck!

Overland Expo West 2025 in Flagstaff, Az?

When I went n 2023, it was warm during the day. It could just be a year to year thing. Average is like 70-deg during the day. That sounds perfect to me.

The Big Thing 2025 recap and review

Reading the recap on the main page was great. Right on par with everything else this team usually puts out.

Overland Expo West 2025 in Flagstaff, Az?

I went a couple years back but couldn't make it this year. It's always good to see the recaps of it, especially from the content creator's side.

    A couple old Nissans

Looks like a lot of fun! Something about those early Xterras that I loved. Small, nimble, and just the right lines.

    Love this build!

    Outfitting my Grenadier Trialmaster

I would think there would be more room in the top for a more flush fit and finish. With the extra aux switches in there, is it even needed though?

Well, Apparently You Jeep Owners Are Pretty Bad Drivers! 🤣

This seems so odd. Not just a Mazda 3 but a Mazdaspeed 3. Based on what I see around in my area, I would have bet everything that the Altima would be #1.

Yet Another White Rubicon - JLUR Build

Love it. Any rubbing issues so far? How much 'no poke' are you getting? Since JKs have less wide axles, I have to run at least some sort of spacer to fit 285/75 or larger. So I'm down to a 1" spacer and would love to go lower and be completely flush. With all the weight in gear, did you go for...

    SAR JK r2.8 Cummins conversion

That's super frustrating. In hindsight, what would you do different?

    The Tin Can Jeep JK

That's a great looking set up! Flipping your trajectory to more overlanding from rock crawling, how's your mileage? From Texas on 80mph roads with my small trailer and 34s with 4:10s, I'm seeing 14mpg depending on headwind. Very curious what your set up yields.

Switch's 2022 Tacoma Access Cab Build

The hood really is such wasted space. Glad to see you're using it for something!

Lee's Jeep '25 JL Wrangler Build

There is something so nice about doing these over-engineering modifications when you don't need them. As another R&D engineer, I respect the attention to detail with zinc adhesive although I also don't know the impact. If you want another mod that adds more capability and peace of mind without...

    Bayou Kid's GX460 Build

That thing looks great! He looks pumped.

Lee's Jeep '25 JL Wrangler Build

Congratulations on the Jeep! Sounds like it'll fit your goal perfectly with a set of all terrain (three peak) tires. Unless you're terribly worried about mileage, the Jeep makes daily driving so much more fun.

    Bayou Kid's GX460 Build

Removing that film and restoring the headlights will do wonders for it! Also, new tires in general can really change the look of a vehicle. Kudos to you for getting him something fun, safe, reliable, AND something to learn to work on with.

JK Lift: AEV 2.5 and Correction Brackets, 35x11.5

Yours looks more level than mine. Were you running the 2.5 AEV springs here? It looks like Falcon shocks under there.

    SAR JK r2.8 Cummins conversion

Oh you have to kidding. That's so frustrating. You looking at going with a direct replacement or something different?
