2013 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sahara w/AEV and Smittybilt Scout Expedition Trailer

Looks like a nice set-up but I'm confused, is it an actual AEV Jeep with an AEV serial number or a Jeep with AEV parts?

Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Unlimited with Full Air Suspension --ORO AiRock, on-board air, sPod -- low miles, great condition, upgrades, one owner

Good looking Rubicon! Is the last picture showing the rear at full height and the front at the lowest setting? How much of lift does the air system provide at the lowest setting and the highest? Is there an optimal spot? I assume ride quality is diminished at its extremes.

Drive to Arctic Circle in “high miles” 4th Gen 4Runner

I was hoping someone would comment on this. Is two full-size spares necessary? One I get but two makes it seem like you're guaranteed to get at least one flat.

    Considering buying a Jeep.

I think it's well-known that older usually means simpler. That can be said about, well, everything. That being said, newer can have a number of benefits. Per @zip 's original post it seems you want: < 5-years old Low mileage Hardtop Auto trans Stock Additionally, it needs to be able to get...

    Avahoe = Avalanche + Tahoe

Looks like it's moving right along! Any worries of CO poisoning by having the unit in the vehicle? Something like a small leak may be hard to detect.

FS: 2017 Nissan Frontier CCLB w/ Hiatus Camper (hardwall)

And on the contrary, the long wheelbase sounds perfect for most long-distance general overlanding where one isn't rock crawling between camps. Small lift, long wheelbase, near OEM size tires, I bet it drives nice over long distances.

Maybe something different 2018 unlimited Kalahari addition

Oh wow! It looks like you still have a lot of wheel well space with those tires. Looks great! Although I love a stock Rubicon, I never liked how compromising the breakover angle was. As such, I also ran AEV spacers for a couple of years since the OEM suspension was still in great shape. It...

This is a good find. Compatibility Brackets sound like they'll have a good ROI.

    Gladiator - Good/Bad?

@D45 , the Gladiator really is a cool truck. Everyone can go on and on about this part of it as compared to other vehicles but truth be told, it isn't like any other vehicle. It's a Jeep truck. It'll be fun to drive and versatile. If you don't like it after a year, you probably won't lose any...

    Considering buying a Jeep.

Although I haven't heard of any issues, every 2.0L I've been around idles loud in the summer. The fan always seems kicked on at its highest speed. Could just be a coincidence though. Otherwise, I'd recommend them because a turbo would be nice at altitude. My JK 3.6L V6 Pentastar engine DID have...

Haha I actually laughed out loud at this one.

Maybe something different 2018 unlimited Kalahari addition

What size lift, wheels, and tires are you running? It looks like you're not using wheel spacers with stock wheels, any rubbing?

    Discount for forum members, Warn?

I don't know of any specific deals but when I had my M8000 winch in my Amazon cart, it went up and down over the year before I finally bought it.

    Toyota Trail Hunter Line up

It isn't my cup of coffee but I get it. My biggest gripe stretches passed just this truck and lies with most options nowadays; The bumpers and side body cladding are just too low. Ram and Ford do a good job of giving you a real bumper but with an easy-to-remove air dam for MPGs. Coming from an...

Our start to an overlander/expedition style Jeep JL

To my understanding, a stock vehicle with good tires is basically the best thing for overlanding. However, none of us are good at staying stock. lol So aim to keep modifications reliable. What I've done with our vehicles is attempt to organize gear better. Drawers, cubbies, and specific bags go...
