Nick, when I got the email notification that you'd posted a new pic, I thought it was going to be the one of the RRC you texted me yesterday...!

Funny...I have a white '94 and a gold '88 both stored at a friend's house. If I hadn't just driven by there today and seen them I'd have to wonder if they somehow found their way to Utah!

Looks like that let the smoke out of the wiring harness, better get some more and replenish it: And be sure to pay close attention to the Lucas fuse chart in the future:

But you don't often see people going the other way. And when they do, they often seem to come back around to Land Rovers after getting that Jeep thing out of their systems. Having said that, I would still love to have an old military Jeep, preferably a WWII Ford Jeep. But not in place of my...

    RT-610 10 speed Transmission Eaton-Fuller $400 Modesto, CA

I've been looking into it and I think the twin shaft tranny is too wide to easily fit into my truck, from what I've read it looks lie fairly extensive hacking of the floor will be needed to fit it into the tranny hump, so I'm afraid I'll have to pass. Sure got me thinking about using something...

I agree, seems like a darn good price.

    RT-610 10 speed Transmission Eaton-Fuller $400 Modesto, CA

Okay, I'll keep researching it. I'm coming back down to Modesto for Rover work within the next month, tentatively on the weekend of the 28th/1st. If you haven't sold it by that time and I think I can make it work I'll see about coming by to check it out and maybe drag it home as I'll have my...

    RT-610 10 speed Transmission Eaton-Fuller $400 Modesto, CA

Any idea what I'd need for a flywheel and clutch? I have the adapter, flywheel, clutch and bellhousing for the Getrag 5-speed (but no Getrag.) Also, I did a little reading about the RT-610 and it looks like it weighs about 650 LBS and is the wide twin-shaft box from what I understand. Gotta get...

Damn, that's tempting. I was just in Modesto today, too. What would it take to put that thing behind a Cummins 6BT?

Yeah...in my neck of the woods too, and they didn't even let me know they were coming! (Do I really smell that bad, Ted? I swear I took a shower only last year...:D)

Pro Comp as near as I can tell. But they're potentially sold, I'll know for sure Monday.

33-inch BFG Mud Terrains on Land Rover Steel Rims

Set of 5 BFG Mud Terrains mounted on RRC/DI/Defender pattern steel wheels. The tires are 255/85-16s. They have maybe 15K miles on 4 of them and maybe a couple hundred (if that) on the 5th one, which looks as if it was run only long enough to wear the nubs off. $750. Located in Santa Rosa but...

You might be surprised at how nice a daily driver a stock '95 LWB can be. And yours appears to be a 25th Anniversary Edition, of which they only made 250. (I'm picking one up in Seattle next week!) Hang onto that one, it's only going up in value and an RRC gets more looks and comments then any...

The outside definitely looks better than the inside! I recently picked up an '88 for parts that looks maybe a little better than that inside, but just weathered and worn. But really musty and dank-smelling. I'm glad we can't smell the pic you just posted, I don't imagine it's too pleasant...!

So it's an '87 or '88? Looking at the pic more closely I see now that it has the exposed front door hinges. You might still want to consider swapping that LT230 out for a newer, stronger unit like one from a DII if you're going to be running a diesel. A buddy of mine just picked up a DI with an...
