I agree that a good upholstery shop can do wonders for old seats. Often you can get them to install higher quality foam than what was even in there from the start. This is usually pricey, but worth it. If you factory seats suck and you want a cheap used seat start looking for Volvo seats. IMO...

2.7L F-150. Keep it on P tires and avoid LT tires. 87 octane and can do 23mpg on the highway pretty consistently. If MPG's are the priority and you don't need a 2500 then you would be better served in the half ton market. If resale is more important then sure, go that route. 16k miles at 23mpg...

Awesome work and thanks for documenting everything so well. AEV is a premium product and worth spending a premium on. I will never forget looking over the high fender and truck conversion on a TJ Brute. Just the most amazingly detailed work and as close as it gets to factory.
