Anyone know whether the p38 conversion retained the abs pump? Or if it used a Chevy hydraulic pump instead?

So what radiator are you running in the P38? Also, what springs? I was told the Ford F350 springs would work. Will the F250 Springs work? If I am not running a lift, can I trim the F250 springs to make the ride height appropriate?

The transmission that goes into the old 300 series Mercedes is positioned in such a way that you might end up with a shifter coming out of your dash...don't know for sure, just what I have been told. There was a guy selling or building a kit for mating the mercedes engine to other transmissions...

Go with whichever one you can find for the best price in the best condition. Unless you have a serious affinity towards one body style or the other, they are VERY similar vehicles.

thats a heck of a deal, if it were me, I'd stick a diesel in there...in my opinion rover makes a find chassis and running gear, but their engines (at least in the US) leave a lot to be desired.

Where would you shoehorn an Ac compressor in on your 6.2 if you wanted it? I'm in Florida and with the humidity here, I couldn't live without it. Also, how did you do the clutch pedal? Modify one from a disco or modify one from a gm vehicle?

That T56 IS an impressive transmission! Its a little out of my price range, but I might pick one up at a later time if this nv4500 blows up. For the time being I may just have to monkey with gears to get my cruising RPM at around 1600 or 1700 at 60 mph...havent done the math on that yet...
