Couple more videos I've done. One is useful in general, one is useful for not getting ripped off.
How to trim / clearance rear fenders on a 4th gen 4runner
One tent not to buy lol.
Did some exploring in the desert. First time really putting it through the paces. Did great in sand, climbing and pretty much everything else we threw at it.
Ok so, we don't get much rain here in NM, and I haven't even used it while camping yet. Anyway, we got some torrential downpours and my Yescom 6.6 x 8.2 ft awning decided to fill itself with water because the zipper is upside down when its installed properly. I reached out to them, and they gave...
People sure do keep these for a long time, that is for sure. Thanks man. The other nice part is this is one a few racks that are under a grand, so that helped too. If you ever come wheeling in abq, shoot me a dm
I went with this bad boy: Yescom 6.6'x8' side awning
Seems to have gone up in price to 121 shipped since I ordered mine a while back... The smittybuilt one is like 183 right now, so that's still a pretty decent savings.
Messed around with the lighting today and got the 42" light bar all all wired up. Now have 2 led fogs, a 14 inch light bar on the bumper, hids and the 42 inch roof one. She putting out some lumens now!
No lights
Hid headlights only
Hids and fogs
Hids, fogs and bumper light bar...

No signs, and if my wife would have been driving and the brakes would have lost power like they did, she probably would have wrecked into someone. This is one of those ones you should probably do!
I am in the same boat, just ordered 2 of these https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00SO44A96/ I'll post up in my thread when i get them on weds to see if it solved the issue.
*edit upon clicking my link I apparently ordered the last 2 lol.
And continuing the never ending story, I have developed the "montero grind to clunk when stopping" symptoms. Seems to be related to vacuum and or some solenoids. I got 2 of these from Amazon (1 to have in the glove box) and it was still 50 bucks cheaper than the dealer quote of 100. Hopefully...
Loud solid beeping, Anti lock, traction control, traction control off and brake dummy lights are all up in my grill... time to get rid of them.
Ok I got time to do this. Took about 4 hours start to finish. Not a fun job, but most of the time is bleeding the complicated system. The biggest pain...
