The frame-bending issues, at least with the Colorado/Canyon, have been due to extremely hard hits while carrying or towing a load off-road. Sometimes it happens because someone isn't using common-sense and just sends it, other times it's just someone being caught out by a sudden whoop/dip...
EcoFlow offers battery expansion options as does Jackery, they have portable power stations that can have multiple extra batteries connected to increase the total battery capacity by quite a bit.
I'm just watching that video right now and he touched on something already mentioned in this thread; No actual phone number assigned to the device or your account. The only way to have 2-way communication is via the Bullitt app, otherwise it's send-only. With both the Zoleo and inReach the...
I'm not suggesting the design is worthless, but I don't see it being valuable (worth a lot of money, enough to allow Overkill to satisfy their debts/commitments) either. I'm also not sure I'd want to be seen as a company that couldn't design something just as good or better than the product...
The design is only valuable if it's patented, IMO. If it's not patented then there's nothing stopping another company from copying it and/or improving it and selling products based on it. I don't know what Overkill's current financial liabilities are, but I suspect they are far in excess of...
Never heard of Moby1 and what I've read about Four Leaf Clover it's not surprising, seemed like another poorly-run business venture by someone that knew how to build trailers but had no idea how to run a business.
My point is that well-run companies are able to traverse temporary issues much...
Amazing how none of the problems were their fault, from the defects and failure to properly address them, to taking money to pay for other peoples' builds, to the poor attitude of the owner(s) towards anyone that questioned their practices...simply amazing how every niche trailer company went...
He must lay on his side with his knees bent. Which is fine, but all depends on the person. I couldn't sleep on anything shorter than a proper queen, I've tried.

Never heard of Arkto but they look nice. I also see that they have a full-size queen bed, something the TetonX lacked (all beds were short) and something some people don't think about in smaller trailers. People like me (6'1") can't comfortably fit on anything less than an 80" long mattress.
The difference is WHO does the work and WHAT they are providing/claiming. If the owner does their own work then they assume all risk. If a shop does the work then they assume the risk associated with the work unless a waiver is signed. If someone is selling vehicles that they have modified...
No, but when you're modifying a vehicle in such a way that its structural integrity, crash worthiness, etc are potentially compromised there is a reason why such changes have to be certified by a manufacturer or coach builder and why there are vehicle safety codes, safety tests, requirements...
That's not your Land Cruiser, you obviously copied it from an image search (did you miss the watermark at the bottom right of the pic?).
It's actually pretty obvious that you're a scammer trying to get their post count up in order to access other areas or features of the site. A quick search...
At first I thought "wow, expecting full payment up-front is a bit nuts."
No, that's just a non-refunable deposit.
Um, what? On what planet? Who in their right mind would spend that kind of money on a Taco-based camper? Holy cow someone is out to lunch...
If I had a Tacoma and $350k...
Found it under the initial announcement post, thanks.
Curious what happened, one can only assume the other company finally did their due diligence and decided to get out before the problems started.
I just read through the recent posts on their FB page and can't see anything that indicates the partnership/agreement has been changed or terminated...? Have a link/screenshot?
