SALE PENDING AS OF JULY 19
Left over from a project that I did for a client - they ended up going with walled-in shower vs. a shower curtain approach. Retails for $215 new (!!). Asking $75 OBO. Link to product is here.
Designed to fit the Tetravan inset shower pan, but should be compatible...
Ahh, I remember watching this closely when it came up for auction at the salvage lot. Very cool to see it come full circle. GLWS! That new 7.3 gasser looks awesome.

My first question as well, ********. I've seen the YT and ticktock videos of this... But never seen it in a van build. Props for the creativity.

I kept an eye on these for the hell of it... the one linked here sold for $12.5k, the second unit (identical, had fewer ventilation holes cut into the rear doors/body but had noted leaks from transmission, transfer case, and engine) sold for $20.1k.
First one was a decent deal, second one...
This got my attention as well, lol. Pretty funny that even the side windows have wipers. Would be nice to see some photos of the box's interior.
Also the line about it climbing mountains as easily as kids going to school in the morning... Idk about you, but I certainly was not happy to go to...
Just kidding - read back through andsaw your note about them being from a sprinter. First I've seen sprinter seats used in an e series. Curious how easy/hard they were to fit.

What seats did you replace the front Dr/pass with? Are those from a sienna as well? Looks like you custom made mounts for them as well? They look awesome.

Man. This is a unique concept. At the very least, appreciate you sharing it. Definitely a unicorn... Good luck with the sale!

Very cool - love the updates and excited to see it come along! As somebody with minimal metal working experience... your struggles with aluminum seem very challenging.
Pretty sweet rig - full transparency, I'm (unfortunately) not in the market at the moment. Any photos of the rear swing out/ladder setup? Is the interior of the box really 6.5' standing height? If so, that's a rarity... The vast majority of the e-series box vans are just under 6' of standing...
So is the wheelbase on the cutaway frame longer than the wheelbase on the standard cargo van? Very cool blank canvas for somebody... Having spent the past ~year building out a standard transit cargo van for a client... Those square/straight walls will save you a tremendous amount of time and...
Wow, lots of updates in a fast time span - that's exciting! That's a pretty sweet roof rack. Curious to hear what you think if the AJ 4x4 conversion. I've read a number of negative experiences on other forums, but Im sure that there are positive experiences out there.

Damn.... That kit and the van for $10k is an awesome deal. Very tempting to grab and stick at my dad's shop in Asheville, unfortunately living on the west coast isn't conducive to a project over there.

Van is SOLD as of this weekend.
Interesting story on the purchaser... it ended up selling to somebody who runs a forestry company out of Medford, OR (they do work all over the west). Apparently low mileage, 4x4 passenger vans are impossible to find and factory orders are taking nearly 2yrs.
It...
This van is still on the market - owners just got back from a ~4k mile trip with it, sleeping 5 people (2-3 in the pop-top, 2-3 down below with the two rear benches removed and a simple mattress on the floor). Price is negotiable - owner is motivated to sell!
