I am good without a heater into the 20's but below 20 I will get the MR Buddy heater set up and turn it on before bed and when I get up in the morning. I don't need it during the night.

Given you are looking at smaller changes I think you should consider making the roof into a flippac style so your bed doesn't take any space away from your interior. It would be an easy way to add functional space without making the box any bigger.

What is it about the F350 swaybar? Does the F550 just not have an option for one?

I don't know about actual fuel usage comparisons but idling a vehicle engine is usually very inefficient and hard on the engine. Things have improved over time but definitely have not eliminated the negative impact of idling. You can have problems with more unburnt fuel affecting the catalytic...

Search "decal eraser wheel" for the pad you are referencing. j I doubt it is but make sure it doesn't have tabs going through the metal.
