Just catching back up. BUT I did figure out my fuel mileage on the total round-trip (1110 miles) I got 7.96 miles per gallon running into the wind and running 75-80 mph I didn’t think that was too bad. We hit an awful storm on the way home and it was no so fun.
After a lot of melting and...
No specific series, I do a lot of instructing and a lot of HPDE events. I will probably do a few NASA and GRIDLIFE events this year. Made a ton of changes to the car and want to make sure its sorted.
Yes that would be me I've had 6 Duramax pickups and one Ford SD(yuck) prior to the RAM.
Thanks.
The next addition arrived. This should help with the range.
Also got the 911 dialed in and ready for the season. Can’t wait to get it out there.
Interesting thoughts. With the 35s it was not enough and I felt like the motor was running too many RPMs. Trip in 2 weeks to see how she does.
Thank you. That is my hope. I will for sure try the pressures.
Thank you. b16gsr has been my handle for the better part of 20 years, I have owned...
Thank you. I had the 35s on it and the gearing wasn't quite right for the speed I like to run(72 mph) on the highway. This should help that. The Cummins HO/Aisin has all the guts it needs to tow.
As I said above should be ok. Car and trailer loaded is only about 8,500 lbs. Which is nearly...
I couldn't be happier with the way it turned out. It has a little rubbing on the plastic which I expected as the Bilstien is only a 2.5" kit. Still turns full lock to lock, no major rubbing. I am going to add a sway bar at some point to finish it all up, as well as a Titan 50 gallon transfer...
Then I saw the thread that @GPurcell01 started here:

And the pics of that truck sold me. That is when I decide it was time to change the truck. So this winter I took it back apart sold the 20s and...
I had already picked up several parts and was waiting patiently to install them.
-Bilstien 5100 leveling kit with matching rear shocks
-20” Ultra Hunter wheels with 35” Nitto Ridge Grapplers (thought this was a good idea, more on that later)
-BAK Industries Revolver tonneau cover
-WeatherTech...
Been lurking way too long so I decided to make a thread. I ordered my truck in October of 2020 and it arrived to the dealer March 12, 2021. I ordered pretty specifically the truck I wanted and had the time to wait so no big deal.
Wanted the mega cab and Longhorn package for the interior and...
I would agree with this 100%. Josh is a great dude and a wealth of knowledge. I have now owned and built 3 of these trucks. I pieced together a half a** kit on the first one 04 SR5, ( SR5 with Bilstien front setup and a spacer rear)and then found Josh. I used his OME setup on my 06 SR5 that...
Justin stopped by and saw me today. Fellas these are the real deal. I will post some pics when I get time.
