I wish there were more of the hard side slide up style trailers. Besides the Kamper the only others I know of are the old HiLo trailers and the trailmanor units. I'm a huge fan.

I wish they would make a hard side bathroom version of the Kamper. It's the only thing stopping me from pulling the trigger, no way I can talk my wife into paying that much and having just a shower curtain separating the bathroom from the rest of the trailer.

I want to see someone like ROA come out with an option to put rock sliders on these trailers like you see on so many Australian trailers.

This site is funny sometimes. Half seem to say the Kimberley Karavan is the best off-road trailer ever, the other half say anything with a popup or slide is worthless off-road.

If it's range, then absolutely get an auxiliary tank and mount it underneath the truck to the frame rails. I'd love to do that myself but my air compressor, tank, and CTIS solenoids/plumbing are down there.

Is mpg the concern, or range? If it's range you can get auxilliary fuel tanks for them.

My G isn't very sensitive to load, but is to low speed. If I'm in high range doing 15-75mph I'm seeing 10-12mpg, but if I'm on difficult trail in low range doing 3-6mph, I'm averaging about 3-6mpg. Mine should be less efficient than most though, it's on portals, and I run 38" tires aired down...

Not sure if gfg.de is even still around, they have money of mine for products they haven't delivered in over a year and I haven't even been able to get a response from them in 3 months now.

I am running MBRP exhaust now to clear my rock sliders, stock mufflers ended up touching them. Cutting off the tips won't make much difference in noise but the MBRP is loud, very loud on a supercharged engine like mine, should be quieter on a turbocharged engine though.

Or, if you happen to want a cat back exhaust that sits up a little higher and doesn't exit out the side, MBRP makes one.

Just cut the pipes off, or if you want go to a shop and have them cut them and put turn down tips on them. I removed the side pipes on my G too, they just get in the way too frequently when you are trying to climb up ledges.
