Saw a pair of late 90's Land Rovers tonight. Both looked like over landers. One was on a trailer safe and sound. The other was up-side down in the median on 35 north of the city. Folks standing in ditch looked pretty shook. No other details.

I will be using four formed angle shapes. The box will ride an inch above top of roof. The angle brackets will be toes in and bolt to area beneath rubber roof runners.

Box is made from .125 aluminum. The side armor essentially strengthens is and prevents dents from forming.

I have built a protective box around the heater and plumbing in an effort to keep it free from damage. The addition of a replaceable filter will keep the intake of heater free from dust. Handknobs makes for easy entry inside of box. I put the filter part number on the filter grill.

I have concerns with running coolant hoses a great distance along with more potential for leaks.

I am using an expansion tank with pressure relief.

Plate heat exchanger is comprised of plates stacked like an Oreo cooking. Hot water flows in every other plate. Cold water in the other plates. The hot plates heat the cold plates. Instant hot water!
