    Dave, Thank for the info. I have a 4 row core now and do experience on long downhills the temp really drops. I'll still try the switch for high speed stuff and see if that works. I'll also play with adjusting the start-up temperature and maybe I'll have to run two sensors to turn on each fan...

    Dave in Denver, I have it set up with a temperature sensor that turns them on automatically. Maybe it is fighting the natural air flow. I'll switch it to a manual mode and see what happens.
