Forgiven me if you think I am being a jerk. I’m just extremely honest and most people can’t handle it because they are too sensitive. Yes stock VW bugs do race the Baja 1000. I have actually don’t it, twice. probably one of the best classes by far but less than 1% finish. Also, I might add that...

Did not have to re-gear as I never have tires bigger than 35’s. The bulldog tuner handles everything else with the computer etc. Transmission is strong. Never had any issues mechanically ever. I have every receipt from regular scheduled maintenance from the truck shop in SD. I really don’t like...

The Home Depot shim bag is to get into the truck in case I lock the keys inside. I left the keys inside while dogs in there and they hit the lock button ultimately locking mer out. I always have a spare close by but it must have fallen off while en route somewhere Offroad. The tubular frame was...

Haha! No I made some super ugly fiberglass covers and sprayed them With a rhino liner rattle can they are hideous but did the job. I’m actually pulling them off as we speak and making something different and a bit more easy on the eyes. But they sure do look like vacuum seal bags!

The entire frame of the truck is boxed. The back half the truck has custom frame for the link. With the truck fully loaded the suspension works perfect. never bottoms out and I can travel up to 80MPH. I do not hit the whoops though. Spent too Munich money on this truck to break it like a butt hole.

No, no need for disconnects. These sway bars were designed and built for long travel race trucks. Our original intention was to 4 link the truck but time was of the essence and we settled for the current design. The rears also has king bumps stops. Front has King coil overs with built right...

If it was bone stroke yes id be very very lucky indeed. Giving the supply chain issue with lead times and inflation the suspension on the truck will not only be double the price I paid for now but wont be available for quite some time. No one seems to talk about the custom sway bars… Whyw don’t...

Would you like to go for a ride? Apparently no ones eye balls work. That or my photos are ********. But you are right. There is a bunch of stuff in the back. Including the shock towers and cross member for the suspension that a stock Toyota frame could not withstand…unless one was in fact going to...

Agreed! I like those amenities believe me! But I prefer to go where you couldn’t and sleep in a tent on the ground.

If I’m heavy on foot it’s terrible. The FJ I drove for a bit got a bit worse gas mileage then this Tacoma but I like the room in the FJ!

I have no problem with holding onto this vehicle forever. Yes I agree with you when you see 160K but blue book value of my truck bone stock is 38k. Something tells me everyone replying to my “AD” including you doesn’t really understand what “bolt on” means. The frame of my truck is not factory...
