Not sure if it's been brought up on the forum but one thing I like with the UEV Conqueror is the positive pressure system to keep dust/dirt out. (5:40 mark in video)
Has anyone put thought or effort into doing this?
I purchased my Dweller from Parris RV in Feb. 2022 as I was a little impatient to get one and they were the closest dealer to me to have one at the time (I'm in OR). They delivered it via 3rd party transport service. I had some questions after receiving and the salesman that helped me was...
My thoughts exactly. That's why I think it probably is one of the circuit breakers or wiring associated with it. The incoming 50A shore power would go to panel, then be reduced down to lower amperage (16A based on breaker label) and that power sent to inverter/charger. It would make sense that's...
After some thinking, I think a faulty circuit breaker is likely the issue. There are a 50A (main), 20A (AC), and 16A (inverter) on the panel. My assumption if all were working, you could have the 50A incoming and then the inverter circuit breaker would reduce it down to the inverter with no...
I just called and they said that inverter charger that comes with our units can accept 25A maximum incoming AC power. It seemed odd that in the manual the AC output maximum is 65A to charge the batteries though, and the support rep didn't give me a good answer on this.
I don't understand why...
Issue w/ hooking up 50A and 30A shore power-
Seeing if anyone has a good idea/explanation as I can't seem to figure it out:
Approx. 10 months ago I brought Dweller to friend's house to store and he has a 50 AMP RV power hook up the prior owner installed themselves. Very shortly after plugging...
Respectfully..."all the issues" is a little extreme. I think there's a big difference between optimization and failure/need to fix, and most of the posts in this forum have been geared towards optimization. I'm not the most mechanically inclined person to begin with and a lot of the things...
I had a similar question and decided to just do the drain and blow out step. It's gotten down to 10 degrees for multiple nights and I refilled and went camping and had no leaks or issues. If you don't plan on doing any winter camping maybe it is worth it but I believe the draining and blowing...
Other mod I just did was add TCL 32" TV. Uses same mounting holes for bracket. Much better TV experience as the one that came with was pretty useless IMO.
Power consumption difference seemed very minimal. Just added some longer velcro straps to secure when stowing. Now w/ Starlink I am able to...
I installed the (3) 100ah Weize lithium batteries on 11/17 and just returned from a 10 day trip to southern CA and back to OR. Installation was very easy.. just changed solar charger and inverter settings. I read to charge each battery individually and then in parallel prior to installing so I...
Yes I am and I did consider this. However, from what I have managed to read, lithium batt w/ built in BMS (batt mgmt system) will not allow charging below freezing, negating that risk. When I do camp in cold weather (not generally below 25 or so) I have heater on at night so this will allow...
From what I have read lithium charges significantly faster. I certainly am no expert but I would assume that means the existing solar would be able to charge the 400ah in same if not faster time than 300ah AGM.
I have a D13 so just went with 3 100ah Weize lithium to fit in the same spot of existing batteries. At $319 per ea on Amazon with built in BMS it seems like a no brainer. Amazon has a wide selection so I’m sure you can compare different sizes relatively easy.
Has anyone upgraded their batteries to lithium? That is my next planned upgrade. Aside from changing Renogy charging settings, is there anything else to be aware of or just a simple swap?
Live in central OR and planning to do some winter camping and a road trip down the eastern side of the sierras (to get to LA for wedding) in next month. I know the dweller is considered a 3 season trailer so this may be a dumb question- what steps can be taken to winterize while keeping ability...
Doesn’t seem like you have much of any value to add except for snarky comments or trying to nit pick
…which is common sense. It seems like you have just been adding negativity or trying to find flaws with the trailer. If you don’t want to buy it, don’t. It’s not adding any productive discourse...
Thanks so much for the info. I was having the exact same issues with a 2019 F150 Raptor and my only complaint with the unit. Got the shocks and installing this weekend
