Hmm interesting
Would younsay you had more room in your camper than they did?
I was under the impression that the Iveco is bigger and more powerfull than any of the regular US small trucks
@alanymarce thanks for the tip
I have looked at that site and some locations seem to have service (like this one) but they are very rare
If you try to use the Type drop down box on the top right of the map there is not "Service" type listed there !
An Iveco Daily 4x4 seems to be the camper that I would need.
Purchasing date is years ahead some other things might happen or other options might show up in the mean time
However nothing stops me from educating myself a little bit in the mid time, so here I am asking some basic questions
I hope...
Yes I probably have to register it there but they can I keep the vehicle here in Canada without having to register it here ?
There is a maximum time you are allowed to keep it without registering if you are not a tourist.
Too bad if that is a Quigley because that adds to the cost more than a...
There is a couple of videos in this channel showing what a transit can do
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCxeKkyXkGR3JeY0ZHObr84w
Is that Transit lifted more than the average lifted transit ?
I do not plan to do anything that would be more than what they did in the videos so if I can get that...
Thanks a lot for that. The plan is to retire from my job here in Canada, travel the Americas and then ship the vehicle to Europe where I would live after I am done with the traveling so it would make sense to order the vehicle in Europe and then build it here some how and start my journey here...
Ok here is my context: we are planning to travel around the workd when I am retiring. That would be Europe, Central Asia, Australia and the Americas.
The vehicles I have in mind are a Ford Transit medium base wheel, high roof vs a Toyota Hilux long bed crew cabin
It will be 4 adults and we...
yes you did
Like someone who DOES know what the things cost you could probably tell us how much it would cost a homeless to keep a camper on the road (insurance, gas maintenance and so on)
Or you are seeing those as just stationary capsules -which would result in a lots of problems...
And you do? :-)))))
Very realistic for homeless to afford $30k-$40K camper + 30K truck or whatever
and you have solved the problem of homeless ppl. with this 'great' idea of yours
oh ...thanks for the lucidity
please enlighten us ...what are the very real and influential reasons
PS: who says I want to change class ?
I don;t that is the very point here I do not want to waste my money and slide to the ...lower class , bottom class ? What do you call it ? Here is where you...
Yeap it is
My opinion is that this is not sustainable and the inflated praces are supported just by the inflation and the context.
The context will change that is for sure
As far as the inflation goes that will be soon become an issues and the central banks will have to either let it continue...
I hope you realize that the trend is not sustainable and if the middle class can't spend money the rich can stick their money in their arses as the economy and everything will be stuck
Here is a highly recommended reading

Do the same for campers that were 20K just a few years back (like 4-5 as someone mentioned here)
I am in no rush to buy or build, I can wait for the economy to go down because some ppl spent more tha they can make on houses campers and whatever. Till then I am taking advantage of a booming stock market. I think my small portfolio went up about the price of a camper in like 6 months. THAT...
