I don’t think it’s over I just think the market is going back to where it was in 2019. Everyone ran out to buy RVs and RTT etc the last two years and now the RV lots are full and not as many are buying into any type of recreational vehicle as much and lots of people off loading them so the...
Cheaper military water cans that is a supplier like Scepter are LCI. Buy direct for around $30 sometimes cheaper.

Aqua Brick is an alternative and seems like a better alternative I bought two and they are nearly as robust as Scepter cans. The plastic is twice as thick as Water Brick and they have built in handles vs bale handles and the spout isn’t in an awkward spot near the handle.

Very nice rig but expensive. To save money you could buy a new van for around $75k and diy route upfitting it with upfitter packages. Another consideration is a truck and truck camper. You could buy a brand new HD truck for around $75k as well and buy a really nice camper my preference would be...
My main inspiration is the Shutt Xventure XV3 which cost $18k at retail and is a huck bolted trailer. The Huck 256 gun I’ll need will set me back $3500 plus the cost of tank to run it. Not completely sure about rental cost as most companies you have to inquire although I’ve seen some around...
Utility trailers you buy from big box stores are all going to be cheap usually angle iron not fully boxed and also usually leaf springs. Trailers you buy from dealers many you could at least get with torsion axles although typically single axle light trailer won’t come with brakes and you’d have...
She got rid of the 4Runner for a Tundra and now a Ram. Idk why maybe for a truck camper. I think the 4Runner could pull the smallest base camp 16 okay but idk if I’d pull the bigger one with it. I’ve seen a lot of people recommend only towing up to 80% if frequently and you’ll be around max...
Stainless is still better than plain steel; however, between SS and Aluminum the first to go is Aluminum. Looking at galvanic/nobility dissimilar metals charts Zinc is closer to Aluminum. I believe the Zinc coating is the first to corrode sparing the Aluminum until the coating is gone. I think...
If you don’t need the other functions I think these would work. I saw someone on another forum a while back mention the wrapping so I’m not sure how prevalent that is or if it’s much of a concern, looking at the design I guess it could happen and the rigid ones it can’t. The advantage of these...
I agree vast majority don’t need anything more. It’s a want really. I’ve looked at the utility trailer route and adding dinoot racks etc to get it how I would want it and I may still go that route but really it’s not what I want. Actually what I want nobody builds: all aluminum enclosed huck...
Same reasons I decided against these. Too wide. Uncommon brakes, pintle, and wheels. If you have a full size truck to match the width and they way it is works for you or you convert it, they can still be a bargain and a good platform. Just wouldn’t work for me, and why I’ve been looking at...
These trailers are heavy gauge aluminum put together with huck fasteners (no welds). Only equivalent retail version that I know of is the Schutt Xventure than retails for >$17k for base model. They also manufacture the M1101/1102. Yes I’ve ran the numbers on building a trailer similar to this...
50k pounds, had to see this product. I can see now why the rating is so high is that when unfolded they are not rigid and when folded into a block it is a lot of material stacked together. Very cool design. I think the only downside compared to the traditional rigid kind is you can’t use them as...
He said it’s a Morryde frame that is Huck Riveted and then shortly after said bolts. Technically there are “Huck Bolts” which are through bolts that require access to both sides of a material to set the pin and collar and there are also Huck “Structural blind rivets.” From the videos I’ve seen...
The problem you may encounter with unloading a camper is that the ground won’t always be perfectly level and likely most of the time uneven surface. If you have a rigid mount that requires precise alignment to either clamp or get a bolt to do through you may find yourself cussing and frustrated...
I see them in video but I can’t figure out either how their attached or what other purpose they have. It seems flatbed campers are setup to be more permanently mounted anyways vs a slide in, so it just doesn’t seem like a feature that would be commonly desirable on a flatbed. Slide-ins use...
I like to watch trailer builds on YouTube this guys channel and his craftsmanship is excellent. He uses 3m VHB tape which I see is popular and looks easy to use to put up the walls. In part 3 of video he mainly uses the 3m tape, but in part 4 he uses Sika 221 for trim.

Wonder if anyone’s done it. The one you linked to only has a 2000 lb rating, zooming in the through holes for mounting are only .236” (6 mm) so is undersized and the overall rating is low at 2000lb. Maybe if you find one with higher rating. Probably one that uses at least 5/16” bolts which will...
