As stated, all manufacturers have design and build defects. Toyota "in general" handles them better. And most of their design defect "quirks" are easier to fix than many others. I don't like many of their product design choices. And I really don't like their dealers. Will I buy a new Tundra...
We have a 2020 Hybrid Touring and I found the seats to be better than the EX-L. I do prefer the look of the new Accords though, since I am not a chrome fan. You don't need a turbo on a hybrid - the electric motor delivers torque without needing to spool up.
No alternator, no starter, no...

No.
The Lada Niva is a license-built Fiat Pantera, with some modifications to account for Russian manufacturing realities, like cast-iron front lower A arms and stuff. They sold them in Canada from 1991 until about 1994. The problem wasn't the quality per-se, just the qualities such a vehicle...
We upgraded to a Tundra 5.7L Crewmax a short while ago - they're awesome. I can't wait to see pictures of your new set-up and to see how it does up north. My sister used to live in Port Simpson, and then Nelson, so I spent some time up that way, and will take my family traveling up there once...
Nice clean spot on your front bumper. And yes, a Cherokee kill mark would be appropriate.
Glad nobody was hurt, and maybe someone learned that 4 wheel go is not the same as 4 wheel stop. Unlikely though, in this day and age.
Looks so sweet, and it must be even sweeter to do it in a truck with that much power on tap. Do you have the GPS waypoints by chance?
ETA: Nevermind, they're in wikipedia. Doh!
Uff... the Iltis. I swear that on every exercise and deployment I spent more time under the hood of one than driving the thing. Mexican-made rejected Volkswagen parts assembled in Quebec. Then some fool removed the fuel filter because it was clogged and you had to stop every couple of km's to...
Light racing and some other company make replacement UCAs that have a great deal more adjustment.
It's serviceable as it is IMHO, although with either the factory or recommended settings the 2010/2011 is pretty squirmy. On my (stock) TE that seems to only happen when empty though - when stuffed...
I'll be excited to see ...
the bill of materials. :Wow1: So that I can start saving, and work on convincing the wife.
Any word on non-lifting higher-weight springs for those of us that still need to fit our 4Runners into 6'8" parking garages?
I'll get about 21 mpg on relatively flat highways, but once it gets hilly, mileage drops to about 18, as measured "click to click" when filling up. My 4runner's display is rather pessimistic. Mileage also seems to take a hit when going over 70 on mine.
My '11 TE is stock except for the sliders...
