2010 4Runner MPG's

Guys,
I need a realistic number to expect out of a v6 4x4 4runner SR5. My wife and i are looking to buy one and the sticker says 17/22. What are you seeing?
Thx,
M

That was about what I got with my Trail before the lift and roof rack. You may find that the actual city mileage is 1-2 mpg less if you are aggressive on the throttle (universal truth here). Initial mileage also may be lower as the drivetrain breaks in.

17.1 MPG uncorrected. Speedo is a tad off so realistically I getting close to 18 MPG. Thing rides like a caddy!

completely stock SR5 getting 17.3 average on 90% city driving. saw 22 mpg on a highway road trip.

2010 Trail Edition, 3" lift, ARB bumper, 265/70/17 Duratrac's load range E, and Warn 9.5xp winch and I average 18. That's also at over 6,000 feet here in Colorado.

Edit: If I'm just driving on the freeway I get around 22 still at 75mph.

I'll get about 21 mpg on relatively flat highways, but once it gets hilly, mileage drops to about 18, as measured "click to click" when filling up. My 4runner's display is rather pessimistic. Mileage also seems to take a hit when going over 70 on mine.

My '11 TE is stock except for the sliders, and I run on Nitto Terragrapplers.

Our stock Limited is consistently getting 19MPG mixed driving in mountains at 8K elev., 24MPG when speeding on highways only.
