That sounds like your chassis code L040 is a Gen 1 for example. I searched for it but I had a thread on chassis codes and their meanings I was trying to get guys to contribute to and add to their signature.

Nope, they're great. The only thing that might suck is if it's a 4 cylinder and has the 7.25" front diff, there aren't many locker options for it but maybe you don't ever plan on adding a locking diff.
