Thanks for all your comments. I’ve got some feedback on our set up. We just had 2 stratos suspension seats fitted. And I agree with all of the above however after returning from Moreton Island today, I have been really impressed with the improved ride. First we did parabolic from ATW, then 19.5...
I’m running two fg649s both with good ride from ATW and Koni shocks. Impressive after having the original Toyo tyres. Great to air down and get traction. Just my opinion, but I’m really happy with these on the 19.5 ATW rims.

Yes well seems I’m not as big a drinker as a few of you [emoji848] It was just a bit of fun and yes you can carry more bottles in other boxes but this was an existing box the previous owner had as a lockable safe he mounted to the side of the truck and I just converted it to hold 5 wine bottles...
Recent trip to Moreton Island was great. Latest edition is the ezirod fishing rod holder. Our ATW wheels and suspension are going really well too. Glad we did it.

Looking for honest feedback about seat upgrades. Seems Stratos are the only option but so far not a good response on their customer service or quality and at 2k plus per seat its a but worrying. Has anyone got them? Are you happy with their comfort? Is there another option?
Anyone set up an iPad Pro mount in their trucks? Perhaps one that mounts to the seat bolts. Looking at Ram mounts and unsure of components needed.

Anyone have alternator issues in the fg649?
Just replaced the batteries but same issue of not restarting. Thinking there may be a loose wire or alternator fault. ??

Good to meet you too steve. Had a great time with the unimogs. Dan and his crew from Unidan were awesome. Really interesting trucks too. Our canter went really well on the tracks. Got through Ngala rocks without any issues. I'd say the goodride tyres we put on would be even better than the toyos...
Just driven from Brisbane to Rainbow beach and what a difference. Holding gear well up hills. Truck is fully loaded with water and diesel. Seems much better on fuel consumption too.

Thanks Stu. Did it make a difference to performance? I don't want it fully sick and noisier. It's currently running out to the back.

After fixing the chip issue I would like just a little bit more so I have spoken to a few exhaust guys and they suggest a 3 inch all the way but just keep the standard exhaust brake. Anyone done this?

Quick update: took our truck in to see a DP chip dealer and a quick test found a loose connection. Rejoined it and I now feel like I have a new truck. I knew I should have had a bit more oomph than i did. Now to the exhaust upgrade.
