Roof Racks Other Than Baja and Gobi

Based on what I've seen and what I need it for I'm leaning toward the Baja. Going to check out an ARB (alloy) this weekend as I'm not that familiar with them.

Roof Racks Other Than Baja and Gobi

I'm researching a roof rack for my 2012 T4R and am leaning toward the Baja. I can't seem to find any details/pictures of a 5th gen with an ARB alloy rack. Also, any other recommendations out there? Preference is for a full length with a fairing that will allow me to use a Thule or Yakima space box.

    Considering A Trailer

Thanks for all the suggestions. My garage is a 3 car tandem (2 on one side and 1 on the other). the 3rd car side is for our bikes, riding gear and "gun room". The ceilings are nearly 12' high so there's no concern there. Wall space is also OK to tip a trailer on end. As for storing the...

    Considering A Trailer

Thanks for all the feedback. In looking at the pricing, location, etc. I'm leaning towards either a Baja Rack with cargo box or the Ruger (Can't beat the price or the fact that they are local to me). Challenge with with the Ruger is storage. HOA won't allow trailers in the backyard and the...

    Considering A Trailer

Thanks for all the input. Likely not considering an RTT. Really just looking for a place to store our gear/bikes when we camp. Also like the idea of having a place to haul "stuff" (e.g. lumber, etc.). Having always had p/u's, the SUV is proving challenging in some ways.

    Considering A Trailer

Thanks Bigwapitijohnny and Septu. I've got the 5th gen T4R with the 4.0L. Coming from a Dodge CTD it's gutless. That said, trailer weight is a concern. To your point Septu the Ruger is the direction I'm leaning over the Space trailer. I looked at the Sherpa II and am finding that the...

    Considering A Trailer

Brand new to the forum and looking for some help. We're camping more and more yet finding it harder and harder to load the T4R with our gear (Food/water, tent, cots, chairs, sleeping bags, MTB gear, dog, etc.). I have a rooftop Rola rack and load that up but at 6'6" and with my seat brackets I...
