I just went through the same thing a few months back... I was trying to decide between a 1500 or a 2500. After driving both I felt the 2500 was best for me. The power of the 454 is insane and even if I dont need that kind of power everyday it sure is nice to have when I do.

My buddy just lent me his welder for as long as I want as he has no place for it and NEVER uses it... So I think I am going to mess around doing some random projects then hopefully in the next few weeks I will feel comfortable enough to start mine.

Thanks Scrib! I would love one of those. I wish they made them for mid 90's suburbans.. The one for the late 80's and early 90's is pretty sweet. I may have to go talk to these guys soon.

I love CO and cant see myself leaving anytime soon. On another note.... Took the suburban up on some trails and I can not believe the power this thing has! Even my wife loves it!

Has anyone tried the leveling kit on a Suburban 2500 with success? I ordered the 2 inch kit and am hoping it is easy to install as they say.. Any feedback would be much appreciated! Thanks!

Super stoked about my new to me 1995 Suburban 2500 4x4. One owner, 93,000 miles and pretty flipping rad!! Not sure if the picture loaded?? But I really am looking forward to taking the running boards off! Needs some bigger tires but overall I am pretty happy about my purchase.
