My attempt at an M1101 trailer build

The top rail of the trailer has threaded inserts. The bottom plate that rests on the top rail has holes drilled to align with those inserts. The camper is therefor bolted to the the trailer. I can access the bolt heads from the inside and are within the wall. All I have to do is remove the...

My attempt at an M1101 trailer build

I just got back from a 2,500 mile trip to WY. 2,000 miles of highway and 500 of dirt and gravel. The trailer towed straight, no bouncing or chucking. Everything worked as expected.

My attempt at an M1101 trailer build

Flatbed and composite panel build on Dodge 2500

Question for you. Is that a truck bed you built in your shop or is it a commercially available unit? If commercially available could you share who the manufacture is? Thank you,

    Traction Ramps / Sand Ladders

I currently keep 4 TREDs in the toolbox of my truck. I also have a hydraulic winch on my truck. I have found them quite handy when you a stuck out in the open without an anchor point, for me more often than not that is out in a field. I am running a one ton quad cab long box diesel and I...

    Towing capacity Question

The truck will not have any significant issues with that trailer. Gearing and breaking will be the biggest concerns for you. Going to 35" tires and stock gearing will place a great deal of stress on that tranny. You will need to double check the ratios in the tranny and in the rear end to...
