You should do it yourself. I did my entire Excursion and even tinted it to King Ranch Amazon Brown. Product is called Raptor Liner. 60 grit for prep, prime any bare metal, and spray. I get compliments all the time. You can do it. Entire Ex was $600. See my build thread...which needs...

Rack looks great. Bumper looks good too. Amazing what a good coat of paint to make something new again.

Sell it to a collector and purchase a new mtn bike. Even the entry level bikes from Bikes Direct will have a significantly better ride. Avoid full suspension, unless you have $2000+ minimum to spend. It would be better to spend the money on a good hardtail, with better fork and components...

Icon 5/7 inch lift...best riding spring lift (Deaver copies). Might have to run airbags when loaded, soft springs. Best way to go, imho, would be to do the fab work, load it, weigh it and then call Atlas spring in So Cal to get custom springs made. This is the route I have settled on. Avoid...

Axle tube is pretty thick material. I would grind them off and replace the ubolts. It is unlikely that he cooked the tube enough to weaken it. Crazy booty fab though. Guy must have never heard of a wedge.
