Alu-cab just announced the full sized alu-cabin. Ford fit outs coming soon. Not sure what your timing is, though

I think this is a great idea! Some folks state that leaving the tailgate on actually makes it more difficult for ingress and egress because you are moving in a horizontal plane instead of up and in/ down and out. Many back scrapes have occured.

Hive mind, I have a tendency to dream up ideas and then they wilt on the vine.... BUT NOT TODAY!!! What do you folks think about mounting a canopy camper to a 1st gen 4runner? I value your opinions.

There’s a facebook group for these. I’ve seen folks get very creative.... by puncturing the skin. A lot of folks will mount aircraft track inside and out. They mount the maxtrax exterior and then frees you up to do what you’d like interior. Hope that helps. Love your rig.
