2019+ 2500/3500 trucks with the 6.4 Hemi are equipped with the 8HP75 and it is fabulous. Quite frankly the transmission and interior makes Ram stand out for a gasoline powered V8 truck.

Dual battery systems have their place but for my use it would’ve limited me to keeping the fridge in one vehicle. Now I can run it in our Outback or Ram 2500. I’ll be using it quite a bit this spring and summer. I figure with a 100w solar panel I could keep the PLB40 charged while in camp.

I have to admit I could overlook the size of the Gladiator if it had the 6.4 in it. The 6.4/8 speed in a 7000 pound 2500 is a beast. I can only imagine how much more awesome it would be in a 5000 pound Gladiator.

Thuren all the way. With Fox 2.0 shocks you’ll be well under $3k. Kings are awesome but overkill for what you describe. Use the left over $$ for on board air. Airing down works wonders.

Avoid 07-11 1500s with the exception of the those with the 6.2. Some still had the 4l60e and lifter problems are unfortunately really common on the 07-11 1500s with the 5.3 and 6.0.

I just looked at the other set I have and there are no such marking. The upper has Moog Problem Solver and KSC1 on it. Hind sight being 20/20 I would probably just order the Toyota OEM ball joints in the future. They are double the cost, but the originals lasted a long time.

Change the oil in the diffs, transfer case, and transmission. When I had a 6 speed Tacoma Redline MT90 really made it shift a lot better. I would also do the diff breather relocates. Nice truck. I really miss my 2nd gen.
