Seats on new Rams

On the new (2021+) Ram trucks are the seats the same between the tradesman and the bighorn trims? I had a 2016 Ram 2500 bighorn for about five years with what at the time Ram called the premium seat. Could certainly tell difference between the seats in that 2016 compared to a 2014 tradesman. Unfortunately no local dealers around to compare.

2019-2021 is the same. The Tradesman seat is different in that it is manual and doesn’t have a lot of adjustment.

For what it’s worth I strongly considered a Tradesman when I bought my 2019 2500. I ended up with a Bighorn because it wasn’t much more but added a lot of value. The drivers seat is definitely more comfortable.

I am not sure how they stack up between the other trims, but i will say this...

The seats on my XLT Trim on my 2020 Ram 5500 are hands down the most comfortable and supportive seats i've ever sat in and i am in love with them

Different trim, different seat coverings, configurations, adjustments, heating, cooling, etc. It all depends on how optioned with multiple options within trim levels When ordered by the dealer/individual.

^This - I can't remember if there's a bench vs console seat difference as well. The seats in my 2020 PW (level 2 package, which equates to Laramie level 2 I think) are much more comfortable to me than the big horn I test drove (just to get a feel for the 6.4 and gear ratio before I ordered the PW). Obviously comfort is different person to person/preference to preference.

The simple answer here is to just go to a dealership and take a look at as many seats as possible.
