Well the truck has finally arrived. Picking it up tomorrow! The actual payload came in lower than expected but still well above my old toyota so I think I'll be OK. Yes, I got the Heated/Cooled seats. I'm OLD and had the money to comfort myself! LOL!!! NOW the big job begins to make my old FWC...
Thanks for all the information!
I've decided to go GMC AT4 Duramax!
I had to order it because I wanted the 6 Foot Standard bed, but hopefully it will show up before December.

This has been the #1 best mod. The electronic lsd is ok but doesn't work in 4x4. Helps with rear chains but not much when switched to 4x4. The traction control gets...
My 2C.

I have the 120w folding ECO but from 2 years ago. The panels are by Sun Solar on mine the controller sucks but I never use it because I just tie in the portable to my system when I need the extra boost. The panel output is excellent...if they are still using sun solar.
The Gladiator needs a 6ft bed option.
The Colorado zr2 needs a better interior and manual transmission option.
Toyota needs to go back to 4.0 engine.
In short try to find a used 2nd gen Tacoma...
If you want a manual transmission you'll have to look at the Sport model then upgrade it from there after the fact...IF you want the 6ft bed.
A crew cab is only 5 foot bed.
Do you want a camper or just tent setup. For camper you'll want the 6ft bed as there are way more options with 6ft.
