Overcentre Catches Help - AT Chaser Owners Maybe?

Hi, I acquired a part finished trailer project second hand a few years ago which has been stored ever since. The tub of the trailer is very like that used on a AT chaser. The tub was already drilled to take catches but I and really struggling to find any that fit. When AT Chasers were...

Morally Flexible's Trailer Build - British Military Trailer

Looks a lot like the braking arrangement on the King manufactured "Sankey" type trailers. Certainly using the same Bradley hitch. I'm pretty sure these use a more conventional cable actuated drum brake, rather than a hydraulic found on the Sankey units...

I know that Ray (RLD) can extend them! I think every Sankey on Defender2 or Disco3 forum has had his magic touch! He's on this forum as well. I like the look of those that retain the full length A frame and extend main chassis and move back the springs. Purely for looks as i'm sure the way...

    Sankey Tent Trailer

The Sankey is designed to tow behind a SWB Land Rover. The MK3 Widetrack for example is designed to follow the 93" wheelbase Defender. In theory it can be extended for the 110 and still follow through turns but be easier to reverse.

    Sankey Tent Trailer

I doubt any German engineer would entertain any challenge where the measurements or tolerances where in inches!! I had to do the same as an apprentice piece in 1998, teaches discipline apparently. If you took off too much material you had to start again...you don't do that twice!

    Sankey Tent Trailer

I'm just starting my disk braked Mk3 rebuild. Your's is the first I have seen with a Galv chassis! Looks great! I'm doing the same to mine, although many have advised me not to bother because they are so thick they never rust through on the chassis. Initially I am going to speedline the...
