My first Overland Travel Series is soon to be released and i thought i would share here!
Its no cross continent adventure but it was our first trip out with the hilux and living on a small island it had to involve a ferry trip which means a certain level of self relience was required...
I never said it was a magic cooling system restorer but on a fully working system the benefits can warrant giving it ago! :)
I have never used it myself but I have heard nothing but good reviews from people that have used it (other then maybe the price) do I will give it a go once my Coolant is...
Most of people who say it won't work with out trying it are just stuck in their ways
It's like still using paper maps instead of running a GPS... Both do the same job... Both have their pros and cons but because paper maps have been used for hundreds of years people assume that paper maps are...
I got an original windows surface pro off eBay for £256
Brilliant thing and as it's got a computer operating system I stead of a smart phone OS it r u s normal PC programs
Usb slot too for you gps receiver

My local body shop priced one up when they were fixing a dent some woman made when opening her car door on mine
They wanted more then £40 for one if I remember correctly!
Due to it not containing water there is no chance of corrosion and components last longer
No pressure means less work on gaskets and less chance of blowing
And if it fancies you you can run at higher temperatures and push your engine harder... Although that's more of a racing application
I keep one in the back... perfect for handing to your spotter
I have had about half a mile with out line of site before but I haven't tested it from much further but even at that range my midland was clear... not crystal but still
I have spoken to a few people in the island which have had bfg muds and they all said go for Cooper STTs just as good as bfg appently with none of the balancing issues... We shall see
Mines a Auto :/ and don't think you can bump start a auto haha
I have KM2s which are the up terrain version
To be honest I am not very impressed with them I have had nothing but balancing issues!
