I've heard they do the photographer drop off pick up thing to get some shots but I am curious as well. Also some shots look like they have been taken from a drone.

From what I can remember the Tacoma got a TRD supercharger last year. That may be a factor for getting stuck in the sand. Too much HP not enough flotation. Still sounds like fun to me!

I don't think there any production snorkels available for the 5th gen 4runner yet. I know ARB has a prototype and other 5th gens have custom fiberglass snorkels. Maybe that helps answer your question?
