I also have the Garvin Wilderness rack on my TJ. It is very sturdy. I do want to order the wind faring (sp?) to cut down on noise (40mph+). Also, I did have the diamond corners installed on the rear corners for extra support purposes.

I bought a 2006 Rubi in June with 32k miles on it and no problems - from a dealer with the certified preowned status. I was offered a 2009 2 door Rubicon for 29.5k (with electriic package and tow package). Given that, low 20's is a reasonable place to start.

Pardon my ignorance, but why are the roof top tents so popular versus a tent that is on the ground?
